ELENA WAS SHAKEN AWAKE RATHER ROUGHLY. "elena, wake up! look at what i found," she heard bella's voice. the black haired girl opened her eyes, blinking trying to focus. she groaned, checking the clock on her phone.

"bella it's five in the morning, school doesn't start till eight," elena turned her body away from bella only to be shaken again, "okay fine fine what? what did you find," she forced her eyes opened, turning her head to have the brunette in her view.

"okay look, in the book they are called, the cold ones. so i searched them up," bella said to elena who was now sitting up, fully awake, "in every article it talks about speed, strength, and cold skin, which edward has all of them," elena pressed on the different tabs opened on bella's computer, skimming through the texts.

"i dont know bella, i've seen emmett in P.E and he's fast but not inhumanly fast. plus like i said last night, them being cold can just be bad circulation," elena said.

"you weren't there when edward saved me elena, he was across the lot and then suddenly he was in front of me, blocking a van from crushing me," bella was trying to convince herself she wasn't crazy more than the girl in front of her, "he left a dent on the van, how is that humanly possible?"

elena sighed, worried for her friend, "i guess it is pretty weird, but you don't just go around and accuse people for being supernatural creatures," bella groaned, "i know, i think i'm going to confront him about it. maybe i'll look stupid but i just have a gut feeling,"

"well what do you have to lose,"

"my dignity," elena laughed, rubbing her eyes, "well what now, im fully awake and we have 3 hours before school starts," bella shrugged.

"we can make breakfast, dad is still asleep," bella suggested. elena smiled, "oh my gosh yes let's go!"

bella was dragged downstairs by the black haired girl. she excitedly, but quietly because she didn't want to disturb charlie's sleep, pulled out pans and ingredients.

"you know we have pancake mix, right?" bella stares at the girl. elena gasped, "pancake mix is literally flour in a box, don't ever disrespect me like that, now do you guys have baking soda?" she rummaged through the drawers. bella pointed at the drawer next to her.

"hey can you grab my phone and facetime riley," elena said putting all the dry ingredients in a bowl "password is 489626," bella typed in the passcode and pressed on phone icon, calling riley.

"elle why the fuck are you calling me at five in the fucking morning, wait you aren't elena. who are you? did you kill her? i don't have money," riley spoke to the unknown girl infront of her.

elena laughed getting into view of the screen, "i'm right here riles, this is my step sister, bella," she mixed the mixture in the bowl. "step sister?" riley questioned.

"yeah i guess mom started dating this guy here and viola here we are," bella placed the phone by the stove, as elena got the pan ready, "he's a really nice man, and bella isn't a bitch so it's a win win you know?" bella laughed.

"well hello bella, i am elena's best friend, riley." the girl in the phone smiled at the camera.

"don't let her fool you, she's a bitch," elena said flipping the pancake.

riley gasped, acting offended, "i am not a bitch," bella chuckled, taking a liking at the girl she'd never met, "anyways elle how's that hot chunk of vampire doing," bella looked at elena alarmed but mostly confused.

jasper, is fine," elena put the second pancake on the plate, "riley and i started calling everyone from forks vampires because they're really pale and it doesn't get sunny here often so it's perfect weather for vampires to live in," she explained further to the confused girl infront of her.
