THE NEXT MORNING ELENA STILL FELT LIKE CRAP. she decided she wasn't going to school, she sent a quick text to austin letting him know she didn't need a ride today. she checked her other notifications, mostly all from social media except the text message from riley.

'hey i got your voicemail. i'm so sorry i didn't answer i was at practice and my phone was in my locker. anyways you're probably asleep right now, i'll call you when i get home from school. bye baby i love you so much you're the baddest bitch there is'

she smiles at her phone, turning it off and going back to sleep.

elena woke up to loud knocking on her door. she groans and angrily kicks the covers off of herself. she walks down the stairs almost tumbling down a few times before opening the front door where jasper stood with some mint chocolate chip ice cream.

"hey, i noticed you weren't at school today and i also noticed you didn't feel the best yesterday," he nervously said. elena stared at him, "uh yeah i just wanted to be alone for a little bit" she rubbed her eyes trying to fully wake up.

jasper stared at her in awh, she had his sweater on and her hair was in its natural waves making the hair appear puffy and shorter. she looked beautiful.

"well yeah i just wanted to drop this off for you," he handed her pint, "i remember you telling me this was your comfort snack so" elena's heart warmed, she didn't think he'd actually listened to her all those times.

"thank you jasper, i really appreciate it," she hugs his hard body and presses a kiss against his cold cheek without thinking. she froze realizing what she just did. she tucked her hair behind her ear as she felt her face get red, "well i should probably go. feel better darlin' " he walks to the grey car parked in driveway and waves at her one last time before driving away.

she closed the door and stood at the door daydreaming. shaking her head, she walked to the kitchen to grab a spoon and then headed up to her room. elena checked her phone, reading the text bella sent her.

'hey i'm going prom dress shopping with angela and jessica today. do you want to go'

elena thought about it for a second before agreeing. she knew she had to do something social before she falls into a black hole of sadness and loneliness. opening the ice cream, she facetimed riley and then frowned realizing she was at school.

the black haired girl spent the next hour eating her ice cream and watching youtube, panicking when bella sent her a text saying she was about to be on her way. elena quickly grabbed her straightener, thanking riley for convincing her to cut her hair short.

wincing as she burned herself with the last piece, elena grabbed her concealer putting it on all the necessary places then blending it out. she used her blush to make her cheeks and nose rosy, and then she applied her natural false lashes on.

"fuck fuck fuck,"  elena muttered hearing a car horn honk. she grabbed the first items of clothing she saw, them being her red plaid skirt and a black fitted crop top. she quickly laced her black combat boots up and grabbed her bag with her necessities.

she ran down the stairs, locking the door before closing it. she got into the car with the three other girls with a huff, "sorry i got distracted," jessica, who was driving, shook her head, "it's fine i guess,"

the foursome drove to port angeles with music playing and gossip, mostly from jessica. "so elena how come you didn't go to school, it's almost as if you ditched with your boyfriend, he wasn't there either," jessica smirked at her through the rear view mirror. elena gave her a confused look, "my boyfriend?" jessica rolled her eyes, "oh come on we know you're dating jasper, you're the only one he doesn't look in pain around,"
