Chapter 84: Camping part 3 (final part)

“It’s morning!” Nora shouted as she woke up at exactly 6:30 AM. The sound of Nora shouting at that kind of time was enough to immediately wake up everyone else. Night sat up and groaned as he rubbed his eyes, “Good thing Hunter isn’t here...” he mumbled. Thalia rubbed her eyes and nearly fell back asleep as she yawned. Dust attempted to stand up but immediately fell back onto his back and passed out. Thalia moved to wake him up, “Thalia, let him rest” Night mumbled, “He’ll be the only one lucky enough to go back to sleep after that”. Thalia nodded and grabbed her camo-suit and slipped it back over her sleeping gear, “Oh he’s lucky alright” Thalia replied as she slung her sniper rifle over her shoulder and walked out of the tent, “I’ll see if there’s anything else I can pick off” she announced as she walked back into the woods. Celeste held onto Night’s arm as she combed her messy hair. Even though the rest of her hair was a mess, the part of her hair covering her left eye still stayed over her eye. Night smiled faintly and stood up while also helping Celeste up, “I-I’m sorry... I don’t take mornings well” Celeste explained quietly. After everyone got changed into their normal attire, it became apparent how many students in the group didn’t take mornings well. Most notable was Steelsworth, who could hardly keep his eyes opened. “Good..... good morning stu-.... students” he snored as he slapped himself awake on multiple occasions. Every student felt it could be best to leave Steelsworth be until his body and mind were both awake. Night stood in front of the campfire and set it back on fire with a fresh set of firewood and then retrieved a few of the dead animal corpses that Thalia had killed the night before. Without going into full detail (mostly due to a lot of the ‘craving’ process being quite disgusting), Night was able to prepare full meals using the animal meats and then served the meat to everyone willing to eat. Jaune stared at the hardy meat as if it was from another planet and he didn’t eat it until Pyrrha explained to him what animal the meat was from and where. Yang and Nora ate the meat as if the two were having a “Who can eat the fastest contest”, while Weiss and Neon ate quietly and as properly as possible. Carmine nearly swallowed the roasted food whole, but his canine teeth proved to chew down even the thickest of meat cuts down within seconds. About the time everyone finished the meal; Thalia came back with a few small birds and hung them up where the past kills where.

After eating, Steelsworth quickly regained his consciousness and soon returned to the Professor that the students knew well. “Good meal everyone! Just a quick reminder that today will be our last day on our trip. So before you spend the next few short hours doing what you want to do, I’d ask that you kick the outside of your Auto-tent gently, this will turn the Auto-tent back into its orb form” Steelsworth asked of the students, “Other than that, enjoy!” Steelsworth walked up to the large tree house and smiled, “Ruby, Carmine, mind if I see you two for a second?” Ruby sprinted up to Steelsworth and then suddenly stopped, “Yes Professor?” Carmine walked up to Steelworth and watched as Steelsworth raised his hand, “Have I ever told you what my Semblance is?” The two shook their heads and then Steelsworth smiled as he pulled out a tone of parts, “Well, it’s simply called “Mental Creation”, it’s a semblance that allows me to craft and build whatever I have built in the past within seconds. So for example, if I made let’s say, Crescent Rose; as long as I can remember how it was made and if I have the materials, I could make Crescent Rose again and again and again within seconds” Steelsworth explained, “So, I’m feeling a little bit immature so let’s take a step back into my childhood and make a Rocket-propelled house!” Ruby and Carmine glanced at one another before Ruby asked, “Um... sir, what do you a step back into your childhood?” Steelsworth paused and then sighed, “Well you see when I was younger my Father was like me, always building. So one day I’m outside in my front yard and my house flies into the air as my Father yelled, “See you in space, son!” Naturally seeing your house fly into the atmosphere by a bunch of rockets was both inspiring and upsetting- I haven’t seen him since but, now that I have discovered how to create the Rocket-propelled desk, I can finally use my semblance to build rocket-propelled items over and over again, I WILL GO TO THE MOON!” Steelsworth shouted as parts, bolts and pieces of metal flew around the tree house until four giant rockets attached to the bottom of the house, “I present, the Rocket-Propelled Tree House in its glory!” Ruby used her agility and immediately ran into the tree house. Carmine rushed after her and once inside he realised that the tree house not only had rockets, but a whole room inside to steer and control where it would go, how high it would fly and anything else they would need. “Oooh what does this one do?” Ruby questioned in curiosity as she pressed down a button, causing the tree house to fly into the air and then fly around the whole forest.
