Heymish's eyes still looked longingly, straight at Day's. She could not look away, not that she tried to atleast. She had made up her mind to come in terms with him. She knew that her mother's diary entry was somehow linked to Heymish's existence. In her life.
She needed to find out what her powers were, and if really she and Autumn held supernatural powers. Autumn, her petite, blonde, completely different from Day except their pale skin which was genetical, sister had clearly and very easily denied that she knew anything about 'stupid magic or powers whatsoever'.
Heymish's and Day's gaze met and locked. For a moment or so. Refraining herself from Heymish's gaze, she gulped air and stammered a few words out of her mouth, so muffled that it almost sounded like she was speaking some whole new different language, which obviously was not known to Heymish.
"Pardon?" Heymish asked her to clarify what she was saying.
After several moments of silence, Day let out her breath strongly, which she had packed in her lungs for quite sometime. "So.."
"So?" Heymish repeated her words.
"Um, so can we hang out today again?"
"Yeah, sure. If it's alright with you." His voice sounded just like someone who had just woken from his sleep.
Day, smilingly assured him that it was alright.

Walking together alone for the first time after Day's nightmare, nothing had changed between the new found friends. Laughing like hyenas at the jokes cracked by each other at the midst of the crowded ground, they were so carefree, so in love with life, and so in love with each other's company.
"So what happened yesterday? Were you disturbed or something?" Heymish put forward this question just like a spear through her heart.
Not wanting to lie, but at the same time not wanting to hurt his feelings and sound foolish, she stated, " Yeah, I was..just at some things."
"Am I allowed to know about your 'some things'?"
There, just that question was enough to petrify her. Her mother had stated in her diary that maybe whatever she dreamt of will come true. Heymish was an amazing friend, but could she trust him on this? Will he always remain the way he is now..or will changes come. Disturbing their friendship's pure existence.
