"Of course you can't go feeling negative about people and start liking them later!" Autumn stormed at Day.

"This always happens," Day stammered, "It-t-t was the s-s-same with Heymish.."

"Was it? Ugh! Day, couldn't you tell me this before?"

"I thought you could control my emotions and feelings!"

"I could, but I can't completely invade your little private place there in your brain."

"So what does this mean?" Day's eyes rounded, unusually with worry.

"This means that there is something about those brothers which we don't know yet, Heymish hasn't told you much, has he?" Autumn's voice was as calm as the ocean expecting a storm. Here, the storm was the two brothers.

Day nodded sideways, "I never asked, he is always so quiet. He doesn't open up much. Neither to me nor to any one else."

"For all I can come at, sweetie," Autumn placed her cold hand against Day's shoulder, "Those brothers aren't vampires, not even hybrids or any walking dead. They are a part of our system, but what exactly are they is yet to be known."

Day focused her mind into her memories, it all came in fragments. "Atleast now some things are clear, my nightmare, someone killing me with the silver blade, how I didn't want to meddle with Heymish - but I did anyway, and same with his brother," Day bit her lower lip hard , "Autumn, do you think they can have manipulative powers?"

"If they can manipulate you? Then most probably..what if he is something we are to be careful of? what if he is dangerous for our kind?"

The younger hybrid shrugged her shoulders, "I don't know, all I know is that I love him, and there's nothing anyone can do about it." A tear escaped her long lashes, she felt it drip on her chest, only then she realized that there were more tears forming and that she was madly in love with Heymish, who- what he was was still unknown and she felt the urge to find out what exactly he was before she fell any further in the complicated feeling called love.

"D, I think we have to find out more about these brothers before they find out about us. That's if they haven't yet."

Cold mist settled over the horizon. Day stood in front of her mirror. She couldn't believe that that insecure girl who stood in front of her is actually a vampire hybrid, a dhampir. Not that it made her feel more beautiful, she just felt more strong and more important. She felt this energy inside her core, which she had not before. The sparks shone her eyes. She leaned closer to the mirror, examining her eyes, jawline and lips. It was all like it was before, but it was different at the same time. She wasn't the same person as she was before. The events of the past few days were being processed in her mind.
She arched her eyebrow as she ran her finger across her cheeks. To her, she was most definitely not the prettiest girl in the lot. She envied the way her friends looked like. Especially Claire.

She shrugged off her insecurities like she always did. She shook her head and looked at the mirror again. She didn't need to look like Claire. Or anyone else. She was Day and Day is supposed to be the way she is.

She hoped for this new day to bring more answers to her. Her life was tangled up and she needed to sort it all out.
