Hidden Feelings

Both of them refrained from each others' gaze almost instantenously, though it seemed like they had been gazing each other for atleast about an hour.

Day was memerized by the dark eyes which stared so intently into hers, it looked like an never ending journey which she wanted to take. She let his eyes devour her soul. Every bit of her craved to trust him, every bit of her craved to be with him and every bit of her craved to love him. He was like a magnetic force that kept on attracting Day towards him. The farther she wanted to move away, the nearer she got. She was reluctant to let her heart fall in love, especially with someone who was like a mystery that was soon to be faded away. Soon to be cleared away, just like the mist on a cold day which soon ceases when the light and its heat overpowers.

Heymish, was disinclined  to let go of her pretty brown eyes staring innocently into his. He couldn't help notice that her pupils grew larger whenever she looked at him. Her cheeks, which rose when a smile adorned her lips, and her dimple on the right cheek, so much similar to his own. How can a defect look so cute and so perfect?

She felt a strong vibe from him as they exchanged hesistant smiles. And so did he. His feelings for her were very clear. He wanted to protect her like a brother, stay with her like a bestfriend, love her like a father loves his child, neverending and never fading. He loved her. The minute he saw her, he fell in love, with her eyes, her cheeks, her nose, her lips, and everything about her. The way she is extremely loud sometimes and the way that she barely utters a word. She was like the mystery he would like to solve. She was like the ocean, sometimes very calm and sometimes very rough. No one would risk to sail in the ocean so unexpected but he would like to just the same.

Both aware of each other's fondness towards them walked in an awkward silence towards their school. It was broken, soon after though, by Heymish.

"And we've reached! Not bad, we started of at what, quarter past 9?" He said in his loud, attractive voice. He became the friendly, fun and outgoing Heymish again. Day stared at him in amazement. Just moments ago, everything had fallen silent. Just moments ago she felt there was something real between them, but again who can trust a boy nowadays? They can act all real sometimes and at the end leave the girl heartbroken. And Day didn't want that. She had never been in love with any boy in that sense before. She wanted to fall in love. But she couldn't and wouldn't with the wrong person. And ofcourse Day's expectations of a guy were too high - or as she thought, she let her insecurities rule her at this point of life as well. She thought she deserved no one. Not that she knew that someone else thought that he did not deserve Day.

"Yeah we've been walking really fast, except for the few awkward pauses." Day forced a smile.

"I really like you Day, I do." No one's eyes looked so honest to Day, so truthful and so pure. But then again, he was a teenage boy, but not typical one interested in his FIFA more, and not the one who wears snapbacks and gets all 'swagged' up. This young man here was class. He was attractive, with his hair cut neatly, his v nech t-shirts with covered his muscular chest, biceps and maybe his abs. Yes, it was very much noticeable.

"I know it's too soon considering we have just met  but there's something about you. There's like this pull.." he explained.

Day smiled weakly at him and then brightened up. "C'mon we needa walk fast, the siren will ring after only 2 minutes!"

They literally ran to their classroom, both had equal speed. Who knew that the soft, delicate Day could run this fast? Her long legs looked so elegant even when she was running. Her hair flew higher than the angels fly.

"Just on time!" Jimone yelled when the siren rang as the two stumbled their way into the classroom.

"Yeah! Always." Heymish called back.

"Class be quiet," the assistant teacher, Ms. Mehra called out, her light brown skin, dark eyes, and her almost black hair looked so pretty. As much as she was known for her beauty, no one could compete her for yelling at her class. The class obeyed her and everything fell into a pin drop silence.

"Told you Jim, why do you always have to yell?" Claire, Jimone's blonde haired and green eyed girlfriend whispered to him. Claire almost looked like what Day wanted to physically look like. Claire's skin was perfectly tanned and her ice blonde hair harmonized with her green eyes and her skin.

"And have I ever listened t'ya? Jimone loved teasing his girlfriend, and irritate her until she would yell just like him.

"The truth has been spoken." Day whispered under her breath as she leaned on her desk.

"Indeed it has," The Greek red haired beauty, Eltha called out from her place, behind Heymish's desk. The group laughed, terminating the pin drop silence.

"Out!" Ms Mehra enumerated the names of the students who were talking, "Jimone, Claire, Eltha, Day and Heymish, get out of my class now! When I say for you to be quiet, I mean it, out to the assembly square all of you!"

The five, with their heads low, moved out of the classroom, silently, but quicky bursted into laughter upon reaching the assembly square.

"We should do it often!" Jimone gave one of his bizarre ideas of ditching Ms. Mehra's class.

The sun was high, and the burning sensation crept upto Day's skin, rashes appeared and reddened her pale skin. Her head started to feel light and everything and everybody infront of her started to appear like mere blur motions. Her right hand touched Heymish's shoulder delicately before she started descending towards the ground.

"Day!" Heymish yelled as he caught the falling Day in his arms, his face was filled with terror. Day had lost her conciousness.
