So here it was, 7:00 and I'm showered and cleansed and such. I'm looking for an outfit but coming up with nothing. What does one wear to a first... I dont know. Outing. I dont even know what I'm doing, where I'm going. This is not okay. I looked in my drawers until I found. Whats this? Oh yeah nothing! I have literally no clue what to wear and it pisses me off. I took out my phone and called Mike. Yes. Mike.
"Hello? Shut up I'm on the phone!" Mike yelled through the phone. I winced at his loud voice but answered. "Hey Mike it's me. Have you talked to Vic in the past few hours?" I tried to lean into the conversation. "Have I talked to him? No. Has he rambled on to me because he has no idea where to go with you? Yes." Mike said sounding annoyed.
"O-oh. Really? I kinda wanted to-" "Vic calm yourself. And stop doing that! Sorry Jen I'll call you back." The line went dead. Well that was helpful thanks Mike. Wait what the hell was Vic doing? I uh dont think I wanna know. Fine casual it is.
I thought for a minute before taking out black skinny jeans with some rips in them. I put on my bright blue skirt and for a shirt, a neon yellow shirt that says 'Loser' in black letters. Okay it's little much but eh.
I put on a blue converse on my right foot and a yellow one on my left. Talk about an outfit am I right?
I blow dried and brushed my hair leaving it down and wavy. Wavy? Thats a funny word. "Wayyyy-vveeeeeyyyy" I said into my mirror. I laughed at myself and the word wavy. Dont judge me.
I applied mascara and eyeliner. Thats it. My face is sensitive so if I put anything else I'll probably break out. Dont you love teenage years? I hate them. Speaking of my skin there is about five zits on my forehead right now. Lets take this hunk of bang and place it right over to this side and... Bam! Now that thats covered (literally) I'm ready.
I checked the time on my phone. 7:50. Good. I have ten minutes before I'll head downstairs or something so I sat on my bed. I made a clicking sound with my mouth a few times. "Hey! C'mere baby. Bubbles!" I called for my little fur ball.
She ran over to the little 'stair case' tripping on her own feet. She jumped up and tried to run over to me. I laughed at her. Again.
"Awe." I picked her up and held her in my arms. I sat criss-cross- apple sauce and rested my left arm on my knee. Bubbles lay on my left arm and snuggled against my stomach while I pet her. After a few minutes of chilling with bubbles passed my phone rang. I picked up Bubbles with my right hand and put her next to me.
"Hello?" It was an unknown number so ehhh. "Hey Jen it's Vic. I'll be at your house in like three minutes. Okay?" I nodded but remembering he couldn't actually see me I mumbled an "Mhm. See you then."
I hung up and placed Bubbles back on the floor. "Be good!" I told Bubbles. I got up took my phone and slipped it into my back pocket. Well tonight should be interesting...
I hopped down my stairs nearly tripping on the last one. Typical. I rushed out the door but before closing it I checked for the spare key. I found it and left it in it's place fore when I come back. I walked over to the side walk and sat on the curb. It was dark out now and a little chilly. Maybe I should run inside and grab a sweater. I was going to stand up and go back and grab one but then Vic's car pulled up. Great. Well I can just deal with it, I mean it isn't that cold it's California for crying out loud. I got into the dark blue car that belonged to my ex- enemy. "Hey Vic." I tried sounding excited but my voice came out nervous. "Hi. I'm sorry about Tony. He uh didn't tell me until about 6:00." He chuckled a little. "Oh."
It became awkwardly silent as Vic put the car into drive. I could just barley see what he was wearing, jeans and a dress shirt tucked into them with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. I think it was a dark blue. What's with him and blue?
