Maybe We're Not Just Having Fun. {Vic Fuentes}

The room

Scarlett had invited me to hang out with her friends and I said sure.

I was currently in her car while we listened to music. "Oh you'll love them! Especially J.C!" She yelled to me over the music. "What are their names again?" I asked.

She reached over and turned the music down so we could talk normally. "There's J.C, who has the rainbow hair and snake bites. Then we have Danny who actually now that I think about it looks like the emo guy version of you!" She laughed. "So he's hot?" I laughed with her.

"Ew no! I mean your hot but... He's Danny! No." She scrunched up her nose.

I shrugged at her. "Anyways, then we have Slater. He has dark brown hair that is red on the tips. He's the most serious out of all of us." I nodded and she turned the music back up and we shouted along as we drove down the road.

The next song that played was I miss you by Blink 182. I sung along. Like actually sung. It made me want to cry but at the same time it made me want to laugh.

I remember when Vic sung this to me. I thought that it was the sweetest thing on Earth. That's really when I knew that I wanted something to happen between us.

"Dude!" Scar pulled me from my thoughts which I was incredibly grateful for. "What?!" I hadn't noticed she shut off the radio until now. "You can sing! You can- what?" She was moving around in her seat.

"Was I that bad?" I laughed. She stopped the car. "Bad? Thats not even- just... What even?" She asked. She parked the car so I guessed we were here. Where ever here is.

"I guess I can sing. It's not that big of a deal. Have you ever heard Alex? He's really good." I tried to play it off.

"Get out of the car and follow me. Oh my god!" She shrieked. I unbuckled my seat belt and followed her up the house. There was no doubt a confused look plastered all over my face.

Though she looked incredibly excited.

She knocked on the door repeatedly. "Hey morons! Let me in!" She shouted. She gave me a huge smile though and I awkwardly waved at her. After a few moments though someone- who I assume is J.C.- came down and answered the door. "Damn girl! Chill out." He said and rubbed his eyes.

We walked into a room where there were two other boys playing just dance on a wii.

"Boys!" Scar stood in front of them with her arms crossed. "Meet Jenna." She pointed over to me. One of them groaned and then the screen paused. "Woah." I think Danny said. "Well hello there. I'm Danny and you are," he stopped to check me out. "hot." He finished. He shook my hand. "Yes thats Danny. He flirts on anything with a vagina and a pulse." The other boy pushed Danny away from me. "I'm Slater." He nodded his head towards me. "I'm J.C." The one who answered the door said.

"Well I'm Jenna." I spoke.

"Yeah anyways I have to talk to these lovely gentlemen for a minute. Make yourself comfortable." Scar told me as she took the boys into another room.

Well that was weird.

I took out my phone and saw I had a few notifications. I typed in my password and checked my messages first.

One was from Alex. I smiled and opened it. It was a picture of Jack with a bird on his head. "We went to a zoo and the animals seemed to take a liking to Jack... We miss you!" The message read. I laughed at this. I started typing back. "Miss you guys too. Good luck with your bird problem." I laughed.

Next I checked the other social media websites I have on this little device. Nothing unusual.

Scar came skipping into the room and sat down with the three boys following her. All of them were looking at me like I was a dog with four heads.

"Um... Can I help you?" I slouched back into the cushions of the couch.

"See we make her feel uncomfortable!" J.C said to the others. Scar glared at him. "So uh tell us about yourself." Slater said trying to make things less awkward.

"Well what do you want to know?" I asked. "What do you look for in a guy?" Danny asked with a smirk. Scar rolled her eyes. "She's not into you moron!" She yelled at him throwing a pillow at him.

"I'm sure what he meant to say was," Slater paused glaring at Danny and Scar. "What do you like to do in your free time?"

Thats not at all what he meant.

"I uh... I dont really know. I like reading, video games, and um hanging out with people I guess." I shrugged. I honestly dont know. For a while I've either been hanging out with them, her or Alex and Jack.

"Do you listen to music?" J.C's face lit up when he asked that question. "Yeah. I never really did before but ever since a few months ago I've been listening to Blink, Green day and I dabble in some Kiss and Aerosmith." I said. I dont just listen to them I mean I like other songs and bands I just dont happen to remember the names. "Aerosmith? Finally! Someone who knows back in the day rock!" Slater said giving me a high five. "So whats your favorite song?" I asked.

And so this went on for a little while and we all pretty much talked about music which was fine with me.

There was the occasional "You haven't heard of them?! Listen. Right now." Kind of thing.

As the day went on we were all just getting more and more hyper. We played just dance, we got pizza and we all just hung out. An for once no one was drunk!

"Oh hey Jenna uh we've wanted to talk to you about something." Scar said looking to the boys as they nodded.

"Okay?... What your going to talk to me about is legal... Right?" I was very confused and extremely worried. Why? I haven't the slightest clue.

"Of course! Now come with me." She grabbed my hand and yanked me up from the floor where I had been sitting ever since we started watching old movies and making fun of them.

We walked- well I walked and she skipped- down the hallway and into a room. "Welcome to the best place in the house." She smiled. I probably looked like a child or a Jack going to a zoo. This was definitely a cool room.

"And all of these are yours?" I asked. "Ours." Danny corrected me from behind.

I looked around. It was a somewhat large studio type room.

"So we were thinking." J.C. Started.

Hey chickadees! So I said I wouldn't fall asleep until I uploaded so here you go! It's short and shitty but trust me this chapter is kinda sorta important. Theres going to be two chapters left after this and both will be mostly in Vic's pov so yay! And uh yeah I'm really excited to finish this but I'm so tired so I'll probably start writing tomorrow. Also the next two chapters will hopefully be long but I dont know yet. I'll try. So yeah I might not upload for a few days because school and shit. Sorry! And also I didn't re-read this chapter so uh... Anyways thank you so much for reading. Love you chickadees!
