Beatrice opened her eyes to the endless chatter that her roommates kept having. She groggily stood up, took a rapid bath, and charged for some tea at the dining hall. She sat down in the bench and the pitch-black owl otherwise known as Artemis barreled through the window with a parcel. It left the mail on her hands and she gently stroked her beak. She examined the letter, having figured out that it belonged to the Lupin household. She opened it and read its contents;

"Dear Tris,

We know of the event that will take place in Hogwarts this year. Please, there is something that doesn't quite fit in. Be careful and wary of the new guests that you may meet. Remember that Igor Karkaroff if a well-known death eater, so probably Mad-Eye is there to keep an eye on him (No pun intended).

Snuffles misses you a lot, and can't wait to talk to you. Among other stuff, if you find yourself in trouble, you might want to go to Moody. He worked with your mother back in the day and is quite fond of you. Snuffles says that you must not go near any Durmstrang boy, not that Cedric will allow it anyways. Harry mentioned in his letter the little incident in the dining hall yesterday. I could not stop laughing as I imagined yourself in that situation.

More events will come, please keep in contact and we have a surprise for you arriving soon!

Love you dearly,

Snuffles and Remus"

She rolled her eyes at their protective nature and scoffed with humor at Sirius's antics. When she was about to get up, an arm made its way around her hips and a kiss was littered at the side of my head. She stared back at Ced and bid him a good morning.

The pair sat and talked about their new time tables. They had all of the classes together except for potions, which she had with the Slytherins and DADA, which she had with the Ravenclaws. She nodded sadly, seeing that they had few classes together.

He later walked her to class and gave her a good luck kiss, knowing that the girl would excel in DADA. Now, she knows that the pair might come off as an obnoxious couple, but their antics were disregarded. It was typical that both the golden boy from Hufflepuff and the golden girl from Gryffindor were together.

When she walked inside her first period of DADA, she sat beside Emma Carstairs and Scarlett Efye, two Gryffindors in her year that she often talked to.

They talked for a while until Moody came limping in. His sight was not the best, he had his nose blasted off, and his fake eyes examined all of the students seated in front of him, landing on her for more time. She suddenly was very uncomfortable and wished Ced was in here to reassure her.

He started "Ministry malcontent. And your new defense against the dark arts teacher. I'm here because Dumbledore asked me, the end of the story, goodbye, the end. Any questions? When it comes to the dark arts, I believe in a practical approach. But first, which of you can tell me how many unforgivable curses there are?"

A couple of Ravenclaws raised their hand and said the answers. We had already seen this, and we're getting to know the effects of them now. He suddenly found his way in front of the blue-black girl. She lifted an eyebrow in confusion.

"Ahh, Ms. Black, your father has quite the experience in these curses, would you rather differ?"

His eyes tried to find a reaction, and he continued "And also your dear uncle, had the pleasure of sending him to Azkaban myself, been wanting to do it once he is found again, don't you agree?".

The room grew quiet and waited for me to reply. She suddenly felt anger towards the man that she was supposed to admire. Her Gryffindor poise got the best of the girl and she found herself replying back coldly,
