Days passed at Shell Cottage. She was visited by Charlie and the twins. Fred and George would stay with her while Bill was on patrol at Hogwarts. The trio hoped everyone was okay. Most nights she would spend at her lab, creating potions and writing them down in journals. So far, she created a potion that could harness the effects of floo powder, but upon contact with a surface, it would engulf you in emerald flames and transport you where you wished.
She had taken at least two weeks to finally perfect it. She stashed various vials in Bill's pockets every time he would attend to an order meeting or would go on patrol. The order had insisted for her to make more since it had proved to be useful in the field. Snape could not believe his eyes, he was certainly proud of the woman. If there was someone better than him at potions, it would certainly be Regulus Black and now, his kin.
For the moment she was working on her best accomplishment. She had worked relentlessly on a potion that could heal all wounds when taken. She knew she had to mix all sorts of healing potions, but she had done at least four attempts that were not working. Beatrice sighed and finally added the final ingredient- some murtlap essence. She stirred vigorously until the potion had turned a dull purple.
She reached for the small knife and cut her palm, wincing at the blade. Soon, she took the potion, and to her surprise, the skin tethered back quickly. She gasped in surprise and quickly took her notebook, drenched her quill in ink, and scribbled the ingredients in the notebook. Now, she needed a name worthy of it. Well, atoned healing was the name for now until she could think of anything better.
Today at night she was going to finally remove the mandrake leave from her mouth. It had a watery feel to it. For this last week, she refused to kiss Bill since she did not want him to endure the putrid leave and its after-effects. Bill would do his best puppy eyes, but the woman wouldn't budge.
Before going on patrol tonight at Hogwarts, the man littered several kisses on her forehead. The rest of the order was summoned for a meeting, so it was just her and the animagus potion tonight.
She headed to the lab, took the potion, and unsealed it, adding the mandrake leaf in her mouth inside the potion. She momentarily sighed in relief. She took her wand and placed it just above her heart and began the enchantment.
"Amato Animo Animato Animagus. Amato Animo Animato Animagus. Amato Animo Animato Animagus".
She flinched as she felt herself beginning to shift. Her eyes widened as she saw her newly extended beneath her. Instead of having the same normal color, her fur was white. She had figured that out when she last produced her Patronus with Cedric, it had changed. Her suspicion was on her power and how unbeknownst to her, it had been growing on her body and mind.
She shifted back, immensely proud of what she had done. Soon, Charlie rushed into the cottage saying that death eaters had infiltrated inside Hogwart's grounds. She hurried after him, but he wouldn't let her follow.
After numerous shouts pleading for the girl to stay she grabbed one of her potions and smashed in on the floor, willing it to transport her inside of Hogwarts. She turned into her animagus form and launched for death eaters.
Each step she took was marked with a trembling thunder current which followed her every move. As she took a step, lighting currents would go along with it. She could wield her lighting even in her animagus form.
The students stood in awe at the sight. The order members stood mesmerized, but seeing the infamous currents, they immediately knew it was her.
"ROSE! Oh, Merlin, wow. Well, I guess it worked. Godric, this is weird. I told Charlie not to bring you here, that tosspot!", Bill said when he spotted her clawing at injured Yaxley that rendered Remus without a wand.
