Tris was adamant about responding to Bill's letter so fast. She was looking for the perfect moment where she could think of a response. She wasn't one to do things in a rush, if she wanted to do something, she would do it well. Also responding to Charlie's letter she expressed her surprise when you had found out Bill wrote to her. She had probably thought that the oldest Weasley would brush it off. She got up from a momentary nap and proceeded to potions, a class she now shared with the Hufflepuff's. She stuffed her parchment in her bag and headed to find her boyfriend.
The blue-black haired found herself trekking down the stairs leading to the dungeons. She halted her steps momentarily when she saw glowing goblet in the middle of the great hall. Some people that had free periods rounded and sat there, waiting for someone brave enough to put their name in it. She saw as Angelina Johson, a Gryffindor a year below her with a triumphant smile as she was putting her name in. The goblet roared in approval. The bell let out its usual ring that signaled a five-minute warning for the next period.
She ventured near the Calix in curiosity, she reached up only to touch it and felt sparks leaving the soft pads of her fingers. She gasped in wonder and quickly retrieved her hand. There was something calling her to put her name, but she quickly discarded the thoughts and continued to potion's class. She furrowed her eyes in confusion, that reaction should not be normal from the goblet. She snapped from her dazed form and hurried to make it in time for potions.
She did not even spare a glance at who was hiding in the shadows of the room. Barty Crouch Jr. grumbled, took a swig out of the polyjuice potion, and studied the scene once again. Why did Beatrice Black eyes turn momentarily grey? He was sure it was not a trick of the light. Whatever it was, it was enough to grasp his attention.
Tris made her way down to the dungeons, an arm found itself around her shoulders. She soon recognized the familiar smell of pines and broom polish. She sighed in contempt as Cedric littered a kiss at the side of her head. The pair sat together as Snape's eyes found the Black girl. He was always adamant about taking points away from me. Everybody said that for some reason he did not hate her completely. She often excelled at his class and worked silently in her spot. He later examines her end result with strict scrutiny, nodding in approval, and almost growling out some minimal adding points to Gryffindor. She never pushed Professor Snape's boundaries, she just worked quietly, and she somehow thought about how he wasn't a bad teacher, but he had a reputation which he did not want to grow out of.
"Open your books to page 345, find how to make an Amortentia potion. Supplies are in the closet. Do not dare to blow anything up, or there will be consequences. The first one to present a quality potion will be exempted from writing a 90-inch essay about this potions' effects and origins". He quickly stated and everybody rushed to get the ingredients.
She waited for most people to come back for her to go pick up the ingredients. He neared her station and asked, "Ms. Black since it seems you know everything nowadays, tell me, what is Amortentia?".
She glanced up and answered "Love potions are fluids that cause the drinker to become infatuated or obsessed with the person who gave it to them. Love potions are considered to be powerful and highly dangerous. It is the most powerful love potion in existence".
He turned away annoyingly and muttered, "five points to Gryffindor".
Severus Snape eyed the girl warily. She looked so much as his belated and deceased friend did. She had his same icy blue eyes and jet black hair. She sported the same aristocratic poise and look of the Black's, but she had her mother's caring personality.
As she exited the seat to grab my supplies, she could see Cedric put his beside her spot. I saw he missed on supply, and quickly looked for it.
Soon, she got to the station, quickly handed Cedric his missing ingredient and he muttered in quiet gratitude. Tris quickly glanced at the book and took the cauldron. She began with crushing the moonstones and mixing them with the ashwinder eggs.
