As the train made it's way to king Cross Station, she barreled down the steps hand in hand with her boyfriend. It was weird how less than two hours ago we were best friends, but everyone knew they were meant to be more.
She kissed his cheek lovingly as the pair made their way towards an excited looking Amos Diggory. He launched himself into the arms of his only son.
He then inspected their holding hands and grinned, "I owe your godfather 10 galleons".
He then moved to hug her in a fatherly manner, "You know Ms. Black, I never pictured any other girl for my boy here. You are both perfect for each other".
Tris blushed and Ced let out a chuckle. As she said her goodbyes to the Diggory duo, Cedric pulled her into one last bone-crushing hug, pleading Tris to write every week. Cedric was not being overbearing, it was just the way it had always been. Both of them always wanted to know everything about them, not to ever grow tired of it. She nodded her head in agreement and gave him one last peck on the lips.
She moved towards a smirking Remus and an overly happy black dog. Tris hugged them and took the Floo Network to 12th Grimmauld Place.
The place was completely ghastly. She liked the whole dark academia aesthetic, but the place seemed unnecessarily dark, murky, and smelled like dust and mold. Spiderwebs were located in every corner, and dust was covering every surface. Remus could not help but laugh at the poor perplexed girl.
Beatrice helped to clear one of the many rooms for her to use. She chose her father's room. She could see RAB marked on the door, she traced it gently and open it cautiously. When she did, the room seemed impeccable even after years without use.
The dark pine walls were decorated with Slytherin quidditch posters and a few others from Puddlemore United. She reached for the soft mattress that sported a dark duvet. She sighed and ran a hand through her blue-black hair.
Once you took a glance at the roof of the room she noticed a bewitched ceiling that sported constellations. She could clearly see in the Leo constellation the brightest star being Sirius and the kingly star named after her dad. She sighed in contempt, knowing that living in his room would offer her some kind of closure.
She was already informed by Sirius that the order meetings took place in the dining area of this very house, and vowed that when Beatrice was of age, she could also attend the meetings.
She made her way downstairs where Remus was preparing a cup of tea, and knowing Sirius, he was somewhere pouring a muggle drink called he countlessly told her was called vodka into his cup. She choked in laughter when Remus threw a glare at his mate, trying to pry the alcohol out of his hands. Beatrice loved her family, even when she had found the littlest of quirks in them.
Remus sat and tossed her a piece of bread, she took a bite out of it and placed it in the middle of the table. After all, that was the only thing that the sandy-haired man could afford. Beatrice did not even care, she had managed with Remus without a problem. Sometimes she would go to bed with an empty stomach, but she then compensated that hunger in the morning when Remus prepared her a fulfilling breakfast.
Her godfather then continued to knab at the bread and sigh nonchalantly saying, "If he hurts you, he's a dead man. A convicted murderer and a werewolf will haunt him if he does anything to you. I just hope you are happy with your choice. You know if you ever change your mind I've heard Molly's older sons are a delight. Fred innit? He cares about you, I can tell".
She laughed and said "No Moony, Fred, and I have a brotherly relationship. Besides, Cedric treats me perfectly and you know he is quite the gentlemen".
