Chapter 26

Harry's POV

I never thought that I would be back in this house. I never thought that I would be talking to my mother again. Lastly, I never thought that I would be a brother, I have a little brother.

I can't deny that Ben is really cute, because he is. There is just something about him that makes me smile. Maybe I can't do this, forgiving my dad but maybe I can do this for Ben. I already told Melissa that I would try for her.

My smile was completely wiped of my face when I heard the front door open. I watched as Ben ran out of the room and shout 'Daddy'

I quickly grabbed Melissa's hand as my father appeared in the doorway holding Ben in his arms.

He was smiling down at Ben as he was whispering something to him. Ben pointed over in our direction which caused him to look over. He did a double take when his gaze landed on me.

"You actually came. I thought Anne was joking when she said that you agreed to come to the wedding" he let Ben down, who walked out of the room.

His gaze then landed on Melissa. He let his gaze hover as he looked her up and down "and who is this?"

I shot up from the couch and Melissa was right behind me, grabbing my arm with her spare hand "Harry don't"

My father was looking at us amused. Bastard knows what he is doing.

"I'm Melissa, Harry's-"

"My fiancè. So if you touch her you are fucking dead" I heard my mother gasp so I looked over to see her holding her hand to her chest while crying "fiance?"

"Yes"

I looked over to my father when he started to laugh "you getting married? I never thought I would see this day"

I'm going to fucking kill him.

"Enough you two" my mum stood up and helkd her hands out "dinner is ready so let's eat"

Melissa's POV

dinner was awkward. Harry was sat opposite his dad and he looked really uncomfortable but I know he is Keeping his cool because of Ben.

"I'll help" I stood up when Anne was picking up the empty plates but she waved me off "you don't have to" I shook my head "I don't mind" just as I was going to walk back into the kitchen I felt a tug on my hand.

I turned around to looked at a very uneasy Harry "please don't leave me with him" I shook my head with a little smile "I will only be 5 minutes"

That 5 minutes was only a minute once I heard shouting from the dining room. I quickly dropped everything and ran into the room to see Harry standing there like he is about to murder his father

Anne took Ben out of the room as I walked over to Harry.

"DON'T FUCKING SAY THINGS LIKE THAT! YOU ONLY LEFT US BECAUSE YOU GOT A SLUT PREGNANT!"

I grabbed him by the arm and leant up to his ear "calm down, please just calm down" I looked over to his father who looked amused.

"He is doing this on purpose, calm down" I let out a sigh of relief when I felt his body fall into my hold.

His body was still slightly shaking but I could see that he had calmed down. He looked down at me "can we leave?" I nodded my head "we can leave"

We walked past his dad and to the front door where Harry ran outside "I'm sorry about him" I turned around to see Anne in the hallway "we know that Harry is hurting right now and my husband shouldn't of done that"

"Just please make sure that he comes to the wedding" I nodded my head "I'll try"
