Hi to all and hope you're having a great day/night. I just wanna point out that in this au story, (Y/N) isn't aware much about supernatural because she and her friend's parents died on accidents and the horrible experience made them steer clear from reading scary books at their younger years. That's why the vampire stuff was a bit vague in her memory.

Reader Pov

I'm too shocked to respond because this felt like those times when I've experienced horrifying dreams that just won't go away and keep continuing to torture my wellbeing till I dįe of heart attack.

"You can't get away from your shadow (Y/N)." He smirked and licked the tip of his left fang, ignoring the fact that a nurse was drooling next to his "manliness" if that's what they call that oozing male pheromones. "Just like how you won't be able to shake me out of your life."

I'm totally confused on why he's too obsessed with me, when he's already dating someone else. Not just anybody, but my best friend. It's not like I'm extraordinarily beautiful or hot like those models in a popular magazine and he could afford to get those people on their knees because he's got the looks and money.

"I-I don't understand the point of all this. If you liked blood or some weird shįt then why don't you pay a blood donor or something?" I asked in an uncontrollable trembling voice. It's caused by mixed emotions and empty stomach which escalated when the authoritative rich guy approached me like a predator.

"I already did." He said and sat on the side of the bed like we're close. "I've taken enough of your blood so that you won't get released from this place."

The fuçk?! I mentally screamed and attempted to run on the opposite area but as soon as I stood up, my knees betrayed me and if he's not swift enough to catch my unresponsive lower body, my face must've hit the upper edge of the tv stand. I'm grateful at least, since it was on my advantage, yet upon realizing that it's not humanly possible, I pushed him off of my private space and caught a glimpse of his fiery-red long-lashed eyes.

"What are you...?" I kept asking but he wouldn't answer this simple question up until now. I remember some comics way back on my younger years that there were superheroes but looking at his dominant and dangerous aura, there's not a single thing about him that could describe as a savior type. He's actually leaning more on the villainous side of the spectrum.

"There's no need for you to know if you still haven't figured it out by now, but for your peace of mind, I'll tell you two things." He smirked down on me and trailed his thumb on my collarbone, up to the sensitive area under my left ear. "I'm a vampire. And I'm interested in you."

"Vampire..." I muttered softly as I try to recall if I had heard that word somewhere. My parents were not really a fan of scary stories and I might've missed this topic when I'm dozing at classes, behind my open book from exhaustion for working at the shop till late at night. "W-wait... isn't that..." my eyes widened at him at the very moment a tiny piece of information showed up in my head.

Vampires tend to suck blood on their victims till they become one of them or drop dead.

Every inch of my brain wanted to shout and call for help, however, my lower body won't move. So I tried to distract and hit his firm chest multiple times like a drum to make him loosen his tight grip. He only chuckled and surprisingly pulled the back of my head to link our warm lips into an intoxicating passionate kiss.
