Different storyline from the other book.
NEW STORYLINE because the former plot was considered "dumb" by someone so I will try to take that as a criticism and improve this book. I hope you'll like it and thank you for checking it out.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be rude." I apologized and smiled at him. "Thank you. I am very grateful for everything you've done for me. Even though I'm just a stranger."
"It's nothing." He simply replied and poured me a glass of water. "Help yourself."
"Thanks." I was just reaching out for the clear glass when a series of knocking filled the air.
"Hector!" A woman's voice called.
"H-hey..."
He immediately gestured for me to shut my mouth and quietly opened the first floor window. Then he helped me hide inside the narrow closet without crevices. At the very least, the cramped space was big enough for me to curl upon and get stacked underneath loads of his clothes.
"Hector! I know you're in there so let me in before I destroy this damnęd house of yours!" I refuse to believe that's the same person since this female voice was a total contrast.
"I'm coming!" I heard Hector's shaky response and it made me wonder if she's his girlfriend. It might be a good idea to hide than let her think I'm a third party on their relationship, particularly with my outfit right now.
"Why did you make me wait?"
"Forgive me, I just woke up." Hector's voice is backed up by echoes, I'm assuming it's due to the house having too high of a ceiling.
"I see." Everything felt peaceful after that. Until the ceiling above the room I was in began to jiggle. My ears and cheeks heated up at the thought of them having sęx so I took the opportunity to leave before his partner would notice.
I hid behind a tree across and examined the house. It was two stories high and quite old in terms of the design with those rough edged walls but at least the garden is well kept.
I decided to walk away since the guy already did so much for me and to ask for more help at this point would only trigger a fight between them sooner or later. My problems have got nothing to do with him anyway.
"What's the meaning of this?!"
I flinched and ran straight back to the tree I stood earlier. Looks like Hector's nagging girlfriend has leveled up to slamming things here and there. The sound of wood cracking and glasses breaking gave me the idea that she has found out I was there and now I'm worried about his safety.
Especially when he's yelling in pain and I caught a glimpse of a redhead chokįng him by the open window. His face is all bruised and I felt bad that he had to suffer because of a stranger, yet I couldn't call the police to report her abuse.
To my surprise, after all the violence he had to receive after his angelic deed, the two ended up making love as if nothing wrong happened. Their intimate scenes had me shuddering. If this is how it means to love and be loved, I don't want it. I'd rather be alone than love a person unrequitedly.
My feet dragged my body out of there and walked like a lost lamb in the city. I attempted to ride a bus for free but the ticketing system was quite tricky and could also get reported for not paying a taxi.
"At least there's nothing worse than this." I mumbled to myself and sighed deeply. It appears that I've spoken too soon since countless of guns welcomed me when I stepped to the left corner of the street to avoid the incoming crowd from the other side.
"Raise your hands where I can see them!" One of the men dressed in black uniforms with full face helmet and bulletproof vest along with a ballistic shield yelled meters away. "After all the brutality you did, all rights you have as a human all disappeared with it. One move and you're dęad!"
I had no choice but to do as they asked and they pushed me inside a trailer truck being towed by another truck in front. It had tons of grenades hanging on nylon strings, waiting for a trigger push from all the gadgets connected to them.
