Reader Pov
"Hey! Where are you taking me?" I frantically yelled and attempted to open the car door. It is locked and no matter how hard I pull the lever, it won't budge. So I automatically leaned over to his side and reached out for the buttons before he could stop me from doing so.
"Stay still will you?" He growled and turned to the right corner, where the entrance to the highway is located. Either he's taking me to the mountains or down the sea, hundreds of kilometers away from the main city. "I'm not your enemy, I swear I'll properly introduce myself once we have left the city because he will definitely chase us to the ends of the world once he catches your scent."
I couldn't help but ask the most basic question because what he's saying doesn't make sense. "How in the world will he catch my scent when we're already miles away?"
"So you really don't know," he hummed while over-speeding up on the elevated highway. "They're Vampires. Dead monsters that suck blood from humans to feed their thirst. You almost got bitten by one earlier."
I gasped in surprise. "W-wait, Raine is still in there, I need to warn her!" I tried calling her but he took my phone and bent it in half, prior to tossing it out at the other side of the road. "Why did you do that!"
"Your friend is a lost cause." He simply said. "She was dating him right? There's no way she's still human. Have you seen her walk out in the mornings?"
I am lost for words. I can't believe this is real and wished that everything will come back to normal once I wake up.
"Once bitten by their Master and drank his blood, they become loyal followers."
I choked on my saliva upon hearing that. In several occasions Alucard has pierced his fangs on me but he didn't let me drink his blood. Not in my knowledge at least.
"How did you two end up in his mansion anyway?" He asked and stepped even harder on the accelerator as soon as the van entered a tunnel.
"My friend is supposed to get married with him after they met in a bar. Apparently, he was looking for a lifetime partner and—"
"What a funny story." He chuckled. "Did you really believed that sort of crap?"
"Of course I was skeptical but she began living with him and she was happy. The guy loves her and they act like normal couple so I didn't think there was something wrong..."
Apart from him sexually harassing me.
"I'm actually surprised he didn't come for you. Did he?" He averted his head and looked at me in the eye.
"N-no he didn't." I had to lie or he'll think I'm one of them. Who knows what he'll do to me out of misunderstanding.
"Well that's weird. I thought he'd stalk you first since you were Sypha Belnades's reincarnation."
"I'm what?" My eyes widened at him.
"You're a reincarnated soul of his unrequited love from centuries ago."
"H-how do you even know that?"
"Because I'm Trevor Belmont. Your husband."
