The coronavirus had died down everywhere but the uk, but me and my family want to live a normal life and get away from england.

"Hey ,  Alissa we're moving to America where do you wanna go ?" My mum said coming into my room.

"What about North Carolina ? Seems nice out there" I said.

"Sure here's some boxes get packing" she said dropping them in the room.

"Now!?!?"

"Yes now"

I facetime my best friend kayla crying while packing my stuff up ready to leave for the airport.

"Do you want my Photo frame? Yanno? To remember me" I ask.

"Yeah sure but it's not goodbye boo" she said sniffling.

"Ofcourse not, I love you babe"

My mum called me down to leave for the airport so I ended facetime sobbing and put my boxes in the car. When a pair of arms wrapped round my shoulders.

"I'm gonna miss you so much boo" kayla said crying.

I turned around hugging her so tight before we exchanged gifts and I left.

It was a long 2 hour drive so i put my headphones in and day dreamed while looking out the window, the sun started to go down and it looked so pretty so I did a tiktok infront of the sunset and posted it. All my friends commented on it with goodbyes and nice messages.

You might think moving to America would be the teenage dream and it is but I'd rather be moving with all my friends as well.

"We're here darlings" my mum said waking us all up.
We walked into the airport and waited for our flights as we have to stop half way to get on a different flight.
