~Morgan POV
"Morgan I'm so glad you're okay." Ashanti said walking up to me. "I heard what happened to you tonight. I'm glad you're okay." I said hugging her. "Mo you ready?" Jayceon said making me nod. "Shanti you need a ride back to yo crib?" He asked her. "No I'm gonna stay here with DeShaun." She said. "I'll see you later." I got up following Jayceon to his car.
"Jayceon can I stay with you tonight?" I asked once we pulled off. "Morgan I-" I cut him off. "Please. Just for tonight. I don't want to stay home alone." I said.
"Fine."
~Ashanti POV
"You saved everybody's life tonight. You should look happier." Ashanti said walking in and sitting on my bed. "I'm just fed up with everything." I said. "If it helps, I kept your secret. Nobody knows why you're in the hospital."
"Thanks for not telling." We were interrupted by the doctor. "Sorry to interrupt Mr. Richardson." He said walking in. "You good doc. What's up?" I asked.
"Well first, the entire hospital wants to thank you for what you did tonight." He said shaking my hand. "I have that medicine I promised you." He handed it to me. "Before you take it, there's one more thing I have to say." He said making me raise a brow.
"Tomorrow morning we will have a doctor here to do a psychological evaluation on you."
"For fucking what?" I scoffed. "We just want to make sure everything with you is okay mentally and emotionally before we release you. We don't want you to end up in here again." He said. "Fine man."
~Jayceon POV
We pulled into my driveway and walked inside. "Kierra I'm back!" I yelled. "Who's Kierra?" Morgan asked. "They both knocked out about an hour ago. I fed them and everything." She said. "Preciate you."
"Umm who's this?" Morgan asked. "Kierra this is Morgan, Akira's mother. Morgan this is Kierra, my neighbor." I said. "Nice to meet you." Kierra said holding her hand out. Morgan looked her up and down before turning to me. "Um can I talk to you for a second?" Morgan said. "Let me walk Kierra home first."
Kierra grabbed her stuff. "I wish we could've spent more time together." She said once we got to her doorstep. "Yeah I know. But it was just a l-" She cut me off. "You don't have to explain. Family first." She said. "You free next weekend?" She asked. "As far as I know. I'll let you know if anything comes up."
She leaned in kissing me and I deepened it.
"See you later." She walked inside and I walked back home.
"Glad my kids didn't get hurt." She scoffed when I walked in. "Morgan what are you talking about?" I said sitting on the couch. "You left them with some stranger."
"Her name is Kierra. She ain't did nothing to them." I said. "That's your little girlfriend or something?" She asked. "I'm going to sleep Mo. Goodnight." I said walking upstairs.
**The Next Day**
~DeShaun POV
"Good morning Mr. Richardson." My doctor said walking in. "Did you get any sleep last night?" He asked. "Maybe bout four hours." I said sitting up. "Well thats definitely and improvement." He said. "This is Dr. Wellington. He will be performing your psych evaluation today."
"Ight. Let's get this over with." My doctor left the room leaving me and Dr. Wellington alone.
"Okay so I'm just going to start with a few questions about your background." He said making me nod. "Did you have any siblings?"
