Chapter 2

Hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala sa sinabi ni Sir Minerales dahil hindi halata sa kanyang mukha maging sa ugali na ang kanyang pamilya ay investors ng XCA. Ang mga reaksiyon sa mukha ng aking mga kaibigan ay tila ba parang nananaginip. 

"Totoo kaya yun o panakot lang?" Basag ni Olivia sa katamihikan. 

"It's true. Montenegro's are one of the biggest investors of XCA which makes me feel dangerous on your side, Hermione." She look straight to me. "If that person complains, your scholarship will disappear like a bubble." 

Sa sobrang seryoso ng aming usapan ay hindi ko namalayang nasa labas na kami ng XCA, at nakita ko na ang sasakyan ni Papa. Kanina pa siguro siya nag-aantay dahil sinabi kong dalawang oras lamang kami ngayong araw.

"That's Tito Remus, you can go now. Bye!" I wave my hand to them as a sign of saying goodbye. 

I open the shotgun door, and see my Papa at the driver's seat. He smiled at me, and I did the same. Papa, knows me really well. Even though we're not really close like Mama because she's always there for me, when my Papa came back from work he will not waste a second just to spend his time with me.

"Malungkot ang ngiti ng aking prinsesa, what happen?" He said while driving. 

"Okay lang ako, Pa. Thankyou for asking. Pagod lang po siguro." I lied to him because I don't want my parents to worry about me. 

As much as possible, this time that I am officially highschool student, I wanted to be independent. It's okay to ask for help, but I realized that I can do this all alone or with my friends. My parents will not live forever, but I wish they live as longer as they can. 

I got off the car and walk towards my bedroom, change my clothes from a over-sized shirt and black cycling so that I can feel the fresh air. 

Wala na rin naman akong dapat bilhin kaya inayos ko na lang ang aking mga gamit dahil bukas ay regular classes na namin. 

"Anak, nasa baba si Fleur at Olivia. Nag-paalam sa amin na aalis daw kayo ngayon. Pumayag na ang Papa mo kaya mag-ayos ka na at huwag pag-hintayin ang mga bisita." Nagulat naman ako dahil hindi nila ako sinabihan na uuwi lang pala sila para mag-bihis. 

After I change my clothes, wearing a patch pocket denim mini dress with a pair of sandals. This is my new outfit for this year, though it's a halfway of the year. 

"Ganda mo na talaga, anong meron? May jowa ka na 'no." Agad naman akong nagulat sa sinabi ni Olivia at napatingin sa direksiyon ng aking mga magulang sa kusina. 

I put my index finger on my face as a sign of lowering her voice, because my parents are very 'tamang hinala' sa lahat. 

Sumakay naman kami sa sasakyan ni Fleur, dahil ganito naman kami nung nasa Elementary. Nasanay na lang kami na biglang mag-aaya at libre naman daw ni Fleur. Nagdadala naman kami ng extra money pero mas gusto ni Fleur na sagot niya ang lahat.
