(I'm going to finish the Hoseok story once I get an idea on how to do the last chapter and end it decently. Till then I'm going to write other stuff and probably rarely in the following month cuz I got to study a lot for my university exam.)
If someone gave you a book called 'How to love an alcoholic?' it still wouldn't be able to draw a parallel and describe the relationship you had with Jimin.
But you could name a few things yourself, that made him walk the line on some occasions.
First, advice to change.

You got a call from Jennie a while ago that she's getting a ride home with a friend, and here you were now, sitting on the sidewalk in front of your apartment building waiting for anyone to stop by and drop her off.
When the car finally showed up, you were quick on your feet and trying to open the door to open the back door your intoxicated roommate was knocking on from the inside.
It wouldn't budge until the driver himself stepped out and stumbled over to open the door, with a few specific nudges.
"Sorry...the lock is a bit fucked." he chuckled as he moved to let Jennie pass to you.
The scent of alcohol off of him was what caught you more off guard than the pungent smell that came from inside the car of sweaty and drunk bodies that were squeezed in the car.
As soon as he was in front of you, this unknown designated, and intoxicated, driver was back around to open his door and continue driving the others home.
"Bye Jimin! I had a blast!!!" Jennie slurred still propped up on you.
The boy waved, almost slipping into his seat before you called out yourself.
"Jimin!" his head rose back up.
"You really shouldn't drive these people home if you were drinking..." you told him, voice trailing of quietly, fearing that you might be crossing a line with the unknown guy.
He chuckled.
"Don't worry babe, I'm a high functioning drunk." he spoke, followed by a wink and he was back on the road.
What you didn't know back then that Jimin was in fact a high functioning alcoholic.
He also never drove anyone but himself home ever again.

Then the judgement might get to him.

This time you were the one surrounded by loud people and even louder music.
Some random frat was throwing a party and you decided to join Jennie after a while of her begging.
That's how you also found yourself facing the same guy that drove your roommate home the last time.
You had a few drinks yourself, but you were in the middle of the living room talking to anyone and everyone you knew, you weren't alone in the corner, with only a few empty beer bottles keeping you company.
"Jimin right?"
The boys eyes didn't show any sign of recognition.
Instead, came a string of excuses.
