You walked into the building and glanced over at the elevator, only to see Jimin in there already.

For a split second your eyes met and you slowed down your steps, hoping that the door will just shut and that you won't have to be in the same space as him, or breathe the same air.

Some kind of shame woke up in your body whenever you were around him, he saw you at your lowest, no one else did.

He was a witness to your behavior at the lowest point in life, something that you have been trying to swipe under the rug for months.

All hopes of avoiding him went down the drain when his hand was stopping the door from closing, ticking off the sensor to open up again.

With slow steps you got inside of the elevator and bowed your head to him as a greeting.

You leaned on one side of the elevator hoping that it will stop on another floor for more people to get in and ruin the stiff air around you.

Your hands were crossed over in front of you, both holding your laptop case in front of you with your head bowed down.

      "Say..." he started of anxiously.

"I didn't say anything to offend you the other day, did I?" that sweet, careful tone made you look up at him, feeling the sincerity flowing off of him in waves and into the atmosphere around you.

It reminded you even more of how caring he seemed that night, now when you could actually match a face to that voice, it seemed like no other could fit better.

"Of course not...just in a bad mood I guess." you answered with a slight smile pulling on the corners of your lips and you could see relief wash over him.

"Good, I thought I might have said something wrong." he said before changing the topic.

"I was wondering if you could come to my office today, my printer is acting up these days. Could use some help..." he trailed off raising his eyebrow at you expectantly.

"Sure...we'll see what's the problem." you answered before he left the elevator and you continued your ride up to your floor.

As soon as you were in the office you told to Taehyung to go help Jimin.

We'll see what's the problem didn't mean that you were the one coming down to help.

He went down to the office you were in weeks ago and when he returned he had a odd look on his face.

"How come you didn't go to the newbies office now that you had a chance to. He asked about you ya know?" he said and you straight out ignored him.

The following week you noticed that when Jimin wasn't working he was going above and beyond to get to you.

"Hi, there!" the far to familiar voice spoke behind you and you almost dropped your tray with food.

"Oh my God! What the fuck Jimin?" you stared at him in disbelief and for a second he seemed surprised but then chuckled at your reaction.

"Mind if I have my lunch break with you?" he asked and you nodded, not wanting to be rude to him.

You had no reason for it, after all.

"You're avoiding me." it was a statement, not a question from him.

"I'm not. I'm just busy." you answered, picking at your food, no longer hungry.
