A lifetime of joy (An hour of happiness 2)(Suga) PARENT!AU

   4 months old

      "I'm still scared whenever I pick her up Kook." Yoongi said, holding the baby in his lap and feeding it from the bottle.

      "Dude...you're doing fine and the rest of us are here to help. I learned how to change diapers." Jungkook says, lifting his head up from his laptop where he is writing some essay or whatever. 

      A lot of things scare Yoongi at this point, beyond just dropping a baby, or suffocating the small bundle of blankets and gentle skin in his arms.

      "I'm scared to be a dad."

      "Everyone would be in your position." Jungkook told him and Yoongi agrees.

      Everyone would be scared to be a single parent still in college and working two jobs to support his kid.

   4 years old

      He left her in daycare for the first time. She didn't like it at all.

      The small hands that held out for him as he left seemed like magnets, they were pulling him back constantly.

      He had to leave Yoonha and later when they would be seated at the dinner table after a long day, her small pretty eyes would glare daggers at him.

      "I don't like it there." she would mumble with a full mouth and he would reach out to run a hand over her hair.

      "I know." he would purse his lips into a thin line before pecking the crown of her head.

      "For now you'll have to, but one day daddy will find a way to stay with you all the time."

   8 years old

      As a kid her aura really changed a lot Yoongi noticed, he blamed it on himself mostly.

      And only when it wasn't shining bright.

      "Daddy...a friend of mine said that his mommy and daddy see sparks from each other." he realized that he never even spoke about it with her.

      "Well you see...people tend to see something like a glow in someone they cherish." he told her as they watched some cartoon on TV and the kid looked up at him.

      "Do you see mine?" she asked and he nodded.

      "What color is it?" 

      "Just like your mommy's used to be."

      "What was her's like?" over time he realized that she could ask a lot of questions too.

      "Perfect." he whispered and she sighed, disappointed with the vague answer.

      He couldn't describe it any different. 

      He always kept it simple.

      Simple word, simply love.

      "I wish I could see yours."

      That's the moment when Yoongi learned that this was a one sided bond. 

      He didn't mind it.

      This way she had a shot at true love.

   12 years old

      Yoongi noticed that Yoonha became closed off for a while and recently whenever that would happen he would call Jungkook to come over with his girlfriend Mihye.
