   9 years later

"Okay kids...that's it for today." Kyungji smiled at the three boys and one girl she was teaching.

Ever since she got here she started teaching the kids simple things, how to write, add, subtract, just the most important things they should learn in life. However all the kids wanted to study, except her own.

Once again Jihoo went somewhere with Jungkook and Jimin and looks like he decided not to come back for class. It started to get on her nerves, Jungkook was teaching him how to fight, hunt and similar things, and yet when she sent him to the small market, the man would rip him off and take more money than he was supposed to.

Just a few classes, that was all Kyungji was asking for.

She stepped out of the doctors small house where she held classes and the kids rushed out after her and all ran to their homes. That's when she caught sight of the three boys, all shirtless, hair wet and the rest of their clothes soaked in water.

"Where were you?!" she sternly asked the kid and Jungkook started to talk when she turned and glared at him.

"I wasn't asking you, I was asking Jihoo. So? Where were you? You didn't show up to class." she said and the kid sighed "Dad and uncle Jimin took me to the lake for a swim, I'll study later."

      "Go home."

      "But mom..."

"Now!" she cut him off and the boy pouted as he took small steps towards their house.

"Jimin could you please give us a minute."

"Sure sis...see ya Kook." he waved to the younger and went on his own path.

The male stood in front of her with crossed arms and a frown on his face.

"Why did you yell at him like that?" Jungkook asked and Kyungji glared back at him.

"Why did you take him swimming when  he's supposed to be learning something useful?" she hissed at him and he unwrapped his arms and held them behind his back as he stepped closer and looked down at her through wet bangs.

"Stand down Kyungji...you can't act up like this, especially not with me." he said and she glared at him and whispered"Watch me." before turning on her heel and stomping back home.

Kyungji got home only to see Taehyung sitting on a small stool in front of it with Jihoo in his lap. The boy was crying and she stepped forward and told him to go inside the small wooden home.

"You needed something?" she asked Taehyung after the boy left, he shook his head.

"I ran into him in the village, he was crying so I went with him."

      "Thanks Taehyung...it's just that..."

"You and Jungkook are fighting again?" he cut in and she sighed before nodding.

"You know...I'm not sure why you love him so much, he did all those things and he kept your brother away from you. I could love..." he was cut off by someone clearing their throat behind Kyungji back.

"You could what Tae?" Jungkook spoke up and she could feel the nagging tone in his voice. Taehyung pressed his lips together and furrowed his eyebrows before shaking his head.

"Nevermind. Goodbye Kyungji." he said and left.

"Why was he here?" Jungkook asked sternly as he followed Kyungji into the house.

      "He came here with Jihoo."

"Taking every chance to meet with him I see? Even using our son to get to that motherfucker?!" he shouted and pulled at her arm and her hand went up and thin fingers wrapped around Jungkook's left cheek.

"Stop!" the tiny cry made both of their heads turn to the side where Jihoo stood in the corner with red cheeks and teary eyes.

Her eyes met Jungkook's and she looked away because his dark look was too damn intense.

"Come on Jihoo...you have to catch up on today's lesson." she said, ignoring Jungkook stomping out of the house.

The day was passing too slowly and Kyungji went to the lake to clear her head. It was as if the sun decided to never set tonight, the daylight was dragging on far too long.

"Expecting someone?" the far too familiar voice interrupted the silence she was surrounded with.

"You mean Taehyung? No...I'm on my own if that's what you wanted to know?" her words were filled with a venomous tone.

      Something close to hate.

Jungkook sat down besides her and let out a long breath while staring off at the sunset.

"When will this day ever end?" he sighed and she sniffed lightly "So we could just go back to the same old routine tomorrow? Me trying to do something with our child and you butting in every time?" she said and he could feel how the words bit into his heart.

"It's as if you are trying to turn him against me." she cried out and Jungkook turned to face her "No...no Kyungji I would never do that. I'm sorry okay. I just have nothing to offer to him except things like going hunting, coming here and telling him stories from a war I ran away from. I'm nothing like you...I don't know how to be a parent, only thing close to parenting I did was lead an army." he smiled showing off his bunny teeth and Kyungji chuckled lightly.

"You are an idiot Jeon Jungkook." she whispered before leaning her head on his shoulder while one of his arms sneaked around her waist to bring her closer.

The sun was already gone, only small trails of orange left behind.

Soon the sky was completely dark with shining diamonds decorating it. With no sun in the sky they lost track of time and both of them were laying on the ground, Kyungji's head resting on Jungkook's chest.

"Would you look at that...time goes slower when we fight, but totally stops when we are together." she smiled and leaned up to leave a kiss on his jaw before crawling up to his ear.

"I have something to tell you..." Jungkook turned around to face her and raised his eyebrows slightly as a sign to show that he's listening.

"I'm pregnant again..." she said and at that moment it seemed like Jungkook's eyes shined brighter than the stars tonight.

There...I hope that satisfies yall, but I promised another reader that I would make a soulmate au for Jin so I guess for now I have to pause with this story.
