Hindi ko alam kung gaano katagal na akong nakatayo sa harap ng shop at nakatingin sa kanila. Nakatayo lang si Edson habang nakalapat sa labi niya ang mga labi ng kaharap niyang babae.

I shivered.

Aren't they ashamed that a lot of people are looking at them?

Tinalikuran ko sila. Without turning my head, I head back to the exit door. I have a lot of things to think about, I have no time to add myself in their relationship.

7:00 PM na ng makarating ako sa apartment. I still have an hour to fix myself. I have to look for a dress in my cabinet and a pair of heels of course. If there is one thing that I can never forget about my mother is that I have to always be presentable in formal occasions.

Thankfully, I found an acceptable one.

Then, I heard my ringtone.

Rax is calling.

"Now what?" I asked her.

"Wala lang. Just wanted to remind you. 30 minutes na lang."

"I'll be there. I already promised, I don't break my promises."

"Okay. Calm ka lang Mory, wear you best dress. Akala ng Nickee na to ha'?"

Nickee? What does she mean?

"Ano?" Tanong ko ulit.

"Wala. Basta be here na ha. You have to travel pa."

"Sino yan, Bato? Si Mory?" I can hear the faint voice of Chade. He really is sure a party-goer. He's early.

"Yups. She's coming."

"Sabihan mo magpaganda. Maglagay ng make up o lipstick o kahit ano pa diyan. Yung damit, sabihan mo yung sexy dapat."

Tapos nagsalita na naman si Rax sa phone. "I know,right? Tama Mory. Wear a sexy dress and high heels. Put some make up. Tapos..." She stopped. "...wala ka pa lang make up."

What is this girl saying?

"Tssk."

"Hindi mo naman need ng make up no'. You're beautiful already. Basta be here na."

"Okay. Happy birthday."

"Say that to me in person. Bye na, Moryyy..."

Finally, I am here in front of the location. Just as I expected, the whole restaurant's already occupied. I looked at my dress. It's good that I wore this. I am wearing a turtle neck sleeveless black dress in a solid black colour partnered with my 2 inch heels.

Pumasok ako sa venue ng hindi tumitingin sa paligid. Nakikita ko na naman si Rax. She's busy entertaining her guests. Nasa isang table siya. She's with Edson, the girl I saw Edson with yesterday, another boy and six older people.

Nakatingin yung mga tao sa pagpasok ko. I don't give a damn anyways.

"You're here na!" Sabay punta ni Rax sa akin. "You really look stunning!"

She clapped her hands.

I begged to disagree. She's the one who's stunning though in her feminine red lace dress patnered with a moto jacket. Beside her is Chade in a pastel colored shirt with flat-front pants.

"Really? Here's my gift." I said handing my gift to her.

"Thank you, Mory." She then placed my gift in the table. I noticed there are a lot of other gifts. Just I expected, elegant gifts were placed there.
