I reached the library. As usual, the ambiance and vibe calmed me. I think it is a gift to discover something that calms you. Despite the emotional turmoil that one is experiencing through, a kind of sanctuary keep one in his place and his feet on the ground. It is indeed a blessing to find that.

I got the biochemistry book from the shelf. Nakita ko ito kung saan ko ito iniwan noong nakaraan. Napailing ako. Ito lamang ay isang patunay na wala talaga masyadong nagbabasa ng mga libro dito. I don't know. For me, books really are the one of the ultimate ways to cure ignorance.

I turned the page to 923.

Okay. May reply. That surprised me! DDNO? Who is this? However, this made it more interesting. Siguro nasa Science-Related Course rin siya – must be BS Chemistry, Nursing or others. Babae kaya siya o lalaki. Since, harmless naman. I replied fascinated by the fact that this broke my assumption, this is much better than talking to that Ass Edson anyway.

Then, I proceeded to read the book. Time came where I have to go to the Biochemistry Lecture class. I saw Rax a minute after. I noticed that she was arguing with Edson's friend, the one I saw in the library with him.

"Ugh! Chade's really annoying. Oh my gosh! Kahit siguro boses niya lang, nagagawa na akong i-annoy" Nandito si Rax. Narrating how pissed she is with Edson's friend. So, Chade pala name nun.

Wala na lang akong sinabi. Hindi naman kasi ako interesado sa mga ganyang bagay.

"Remember, umalis ako kanina. Then, sa mall I saw that Chester Dane there. Long story short, he ruined my date with Andrew Santos. Crush ko pa naman 'yun," she lamented.

Nananatili lang pa rin akong tahimik. "He freaking hugged me kanina while telling Andrew na we're a thing sa school kaya pareho kaming na sa Nursing. Can you fathom that? As if naman, gwapo siya," she continued. "Umalis na lang si Andrew. I lost the chance na maging kami na tuloy."

Tiningnan ko ulit si Edson at 'yung kaibigan niya. Tumatawa sila habang nag-uusap. Tingin ko walang kwenta na naman ang pinag-uusapan nila. Umiling na lang ako.

"Tingin mo pwede ko pang kausapin si Andrew? Nandiyan lang ang room nila sa BA building eh. He's from accountancy kasi."

Without choice, sumagot na lang ako. "Kung gusto mo talaga..."

"Ano ba yan. You need to talk too talaga, 'no. But that's fine. Since, I'm talkative naman. Complement tayo ng isa't isa."

"Di ko alam. I'm like this ever since," I answered her.

Our class for the subject ended early. Dahil may almost 1 hour pang sobra, pumunta ulit akong library to check the Biochemistry book. I got really curious behind the person. Hindi naman talaga ako nakukuryoso madalas sa mga bagay maliban na lang kung hindi ito normal para sa'kin o kaya naman 'pag hindi ito sumasang-ayon sa pinaniniwalaan ko. Minsan nga lang pero medyo malalim din.

Whenever I am curious, I can't help but to delve into the uncommon things that kept me interested. I read about it and they said that it is normal. I hope so. I don't have any plans of making this as a part of my character.

Unexpectedly, there was a reply again as I turned it to page 921. Katulad ba kami ng break time, kung kailan kasi ako bakante, doon siya may reply eh.

I'm DNNO from Nursing Department. Cheer up! We can do this. That is, if you're single. You surely can do it with me. I'm looking for a potential girlfriend.

Kidding aside, I understand you. Since, you talked about destiny in your last note, I have an advice (if this isn't too much).

Don't think about it. Don't pressure yourself or else you'll be forever imprisoned in your thoughts... such as you have to this and you have to do that. That's it. I hope to know more about you. - DDNO

Well, that's quite long. Lalaki pala siya and from Nursing also. Initials niya naman siguro yung DDNO 'di ba? His surname starts with an O. Dito ba naman naghahanap ng girlfriend. Unbelievable! Kaya lang, parang pumasok sa utak ko 'yung sinabi niya. Sino ba siya sa akala niya? Hindi niya naman alam kung anong iniisip ko. What I am thinking about and the reason why I am thinking about those...

You clearly don't know anything about me. I assume, you're a boy since you're looking for a girlfriend.

How about this? I think you're still in your own bubbled comfort zone. You're trapped with your ideologies. Guess what? The world does not work that way. Hindi lahat ng gusto mo, nasusunod. Some things, just go and happen because iyon na talaga iyon. It's fixed. –MAF

Tuesday.

I have to wake up early. Ang aga pa naman ng klase. It's a Filipino subject, 'Ang Panitikan ng Pilipinas'. At least, we have minors now. Pahinga sa lahat ng bigat na dala ng major subjects. Hindi pa ako nakapagbabasa, first week pa lang naman. Siguro, next week, I'll start reading.

I got up from my bed and fixed it. Kahit na maraming gagawin, I feel satisfied. Parang sa maliit na bagay, napa-practice ko ang independence. I prepared my breakfast and I'm alone. I know this is just the beginning of it all.

Habang naglalakad, naisip ko yung kausap ko sa libro. Our paper-convo. Ewan. Siguro dahil hindi ako madalas nagsasalita kaya naisipan kung sumagot doon sa conversation. Pinag-iisapan ko kung hahanapin ko ba siya. Surely, kahit naman maraming section dito. Konti lang naman siguro ang mga apelyidong nagsisimula sa O to think na alam kong lalaki siya.

I got bothered. Gusto kong tingnan 'yung reply niya. Wala na ba talaga akong maggawa sa buhay ko na pati 'yun pinagkaabalahan ko? Basta. Ngayong araw, I'll just read his reply, then I'll stop answering him.

"Mory, may kilala ka na ba dito?" Si Rax na naman. Katabi kami. She chose it. Ang friendly niya, halos lahat kilala niya eh. This is a minor subject so mas maraming laman ang room compared doon sa major ones.

"Wala pa." I shook my head. Aside sa kanya pati doon sa kina Edson at sa friend niya, wala naman talaga.

"Perfect!" Then, she clapped.

"Guys, can I have your attention, please!" she shouted. I mentally cursed. Ano ba'ng plano nito?

"Mory, I'll start sa mga blockmates talaga natin. Alam mo na from Section A too." I assume ito 'yung mga nakikita ko kahapon.

"This is Khryssha Mae. Ito si Anna. Then, si Azalea. Beside her is, Clauwe."

Isa-isa niyang tinuro 'yung mga tao sa likod namin.

"That pretty boy- my bad, girl pala there is Kert." Tinuro niya 'yung lalaki doon sa dulo.

"Ang sama talaga ng ugali mo Rax eh. Subukan mong lumapit dito at hihilahin ko 'yang buhok mo. I promise," sagot namang ni Kert.

"Sorry, didn't mean that," she chuckled. "Back to business, this girl right here is Mory." She said that while pointing me.

All of them greeted me. I just smiled and said my greetings back. I don't think it's necessary though.

They say you'll meet two kinds of classmates in college. One, those who will take the same journey as you. These people are those whom you will considered as friends here – you take them same class, eat at the same time and submit the same requirement. Simply, those who will stay with you longer. Second one are those who will just pass like the wind – your classmates whom you're not familiar with.

Thinking about those things, I shrugged.
