"So?" Edson asked.

"What do you mean?" Balik ko sa kanya.

"You don't get it?" he asked again.

At last! Last year.

I think the whole three years drained my energy already. This last year, this is like my power bank.

"Tssk..."

Inirapan niya ako.

Tiningnan ko siya. "You know I hate it when someone don't make their statements straight to the point, right?"

"Nothing. I was just surprised when I saw the 'price' of the books," he said, emphasizing the word, price.

"Ikaw? Masusurpresa sa presyo?" Tanong ko. Nagtataka.

"Yup. Also, I've seen a TV show last weekend and I was so amazed because the 'prize' was such a large amount of money. What a very amazing 'prize'," he sarcastically continued.

Napabuntonghininga ako. I accepted this part of Edson. Sometimes, he'll really spout non-sense things. But, I'm not pissed anymore. I've accepted it.

"Alright," sagot ko at tumango sa kanya.

Mas lalo lamang siyang nainis. His irritation is almost palpable. I can sense it. I can almost taste it.

"Ewan ko sa'yo," he rolled his eyes again.

I was shocked. He is speaking in Filipino again?

"What?"

"Wala. I can barely hear you talk using it."

Kumalma siya nang kaunti. "Oh, that! Does it bother you? Sorry. I can speak in Filipino depending on the circumstances. It's just that I'm used to it. My parents trained me to converse well in English ever since Dad started his political career. But, I adjust at it changes depending on who I'm talking to."

"Ha? Hindi naman. No need to say sorry, though. At least now, I know the reason why."

"Do you want me to talk to you in Filipino instead? I noticed when I use it, you're always shocked and surprised."

"Naninibago lang. At saka, ikaw bahala. Bibig mo naman 'yan."

Ngumisi siya. Seriously? I closed my eyes tightly, bracing myself for what he's about to say.

"Bibig mo 'to, Love," he started.

"Anong sinasabi mo diyan?"

"You own all part of me. Including my body," sabi niya habang tinuturo ang katawan niya.

"I don't. I have no intentions to," I glared at him.

"No. You do. You own all part me as I own all part of you..."
