"What is the meaning of this, Mory?!"

That was Rax.

Hindi niya ako tinantanan habang kumakain kami kaninang tanghali. Parang gusto ko ng kainin ako ng lupa dahil sa mga tanong nila. Rax and Chade are really a match made in heaven. They both love stories so much. Literally, so much.

I realized the best way to shut Rax up – you should ignore her. Tapos, ibang tao na naman ang mapapansin niya at makakalimutan niya na kung bakit ka niya kinukulit. And, I was right because the next minute, she and Chade were talking about another topic na. Particularly, their next date.

Si Yusseff naman nakatingin lang ng tahimik sa amin ni Edson. Palipat-lipat yung tingin niya gamit yung mga nagtatanong niyang mga mata. Because, it's too obvious and it's getting uncomfortable, I mused it myself.

"Ano?" I snapped.

His eyes twinkled. "Nothing." Then, he smiled a little tapos iniwas niya na yung tingin niya.

Dahil diyan, mas lalo lang akong nainis.

"Nothing." I mimicked him while giving him a deadly stare. "Try to give that face of yours one more time and I will kill you."

Kaharap ko pa naman ang dahilan ng lahat ng ito. Edson's eyes are focus on his food. Not minding his environment. Kanina, ang lakas lakas ng loob niya tapos ngayon tahimik lang siya diyan.

Sinipa ko tuloy ang paa niya sa ilalim ng mesa.

"That hurts." He said while holding his knees.

So, I kicked him again. Now, this is the problem. Instead of studying for my return demonstration later, here I am, kicking this annoying San Francisco's legs.

"Ouch! Too much already, Mory."

"Anong nangyayari diyan, ha. Kayo, kung anu-ano na lang ginawa niyo." Sabat naman ni Chade.

Tiningnan ko siya ng masama.

He raised his hand up in the air. "Okay. Hindi na." Natatawa niyang sabi.

I sighed heavily. Dati, ang tahimik ng mundo. Hindi nga masyado nalalaman ng mga tao kung naiinis ako o hindi. Ngayon, kahit gaano ko pigilan. Hindi ko na kaya.

Combined forces of Chade, Edson and Yusseff are too hard to handle. I need patience.

I grabbed my lecturrete from my folder and read it again. This is better than dealing with the three entities in front of me.

The class ended and our group was able to do the return demonstrations successfully. I got the highest scores among my groupmates.

I committed an error.

I was supposed to clean the thermometer from the body to the bulb but I did it the other way. I shook my head in disbelief. This is the very reason why I don't want people to mess with my system.

Edson and his words.

I know how to take responsibility for my actions though. It was not Edson's fault why I did that error. Hindi naman niiya ako pinilit na palaging isipin yung mga salita niya.

"Wow! Congrats, Mory.", si Chade.

I looked at him. Confusion visible in my eyes.

Napatawa siya.

"You got the highest score for this RD kasi Mory kaya Chade congratulated you.", Rax explained.

Naalala ko na naman yung nangyari kanina. Napatingin pa nga sa akin si Ethel, siya yung partner ko kanina. Alam ko hindi naman talaga doon nagkakamali ang mga kaklase ko, kadalasan doon sa bandang pag-alam ng pulse deficit ng isang tao.
