<THE GAME>
I think I made a mistake telling Jamil to get into the car in the first place. My mum is so annoying. I have not seen him since after math period today, and of course we are not even having literature today. I do not even think I can face him because of course there is going to be a lot of questions running through his head, and mine too.
"Hey Queen? Jamil's calling you. We're going for training." Ali announced to me through the door.
I scoffed. "Am busy. I don't feel well", I lied.
"OK, should I tell that to Jamil?"
"Maybe. Just-"
"We have free period Queen."
I swear i recognize that voice. He has been standing there the whole time. None other than Jamil Peterson!
The expression on my face changed as tension filled my whole body. I felt speechless.
"You're a bad liar," he remarked playfully with a smirk. "Get your ass up. We have match next week."
I stood up lazily and followed him.

On the field, I was restless because I could feel Jamil's eyes on me while we were playing the whole time and I just could not focus on the game!
"Queen catch!" Ali threw me the ball with a notice me whistling and I caught it.
I was about getting to the other end of the opponent's territory but I got hit by someone and pushed to the ground. I fell so hard, loosing my stamina.
I groaned out. Am perfectly okay, just looking for attention and hell yes! I got it.
"Nerd! Are you okay?!" Jamil alarmed, rushing towards me.
"Yes am fine," I groaned again. He stood up angrily and walked over to the jerk that hit me.
"Hey Dean, you gat any beef with her?!" He pushed him hard in the chest. "Well I'll answer to you instead!" He fumed without giving Hero a chance to utter a single word.
"Do you realize she' the only girl on this team?! You could've injured her!"
"Are you seriously doing this?" Hero drawled. "It wasn't deliberate! I din know it was her," he tried to defend himself.
"Yo! JP, let it be. It's a game thing," a guy called 'Kong' on the team interfered.
He is known as the James Bond of the team though. I guess that is where he got the nickname from.
"Game thing? I've never heard that one before. I think you should apologize to her!" Jamil insisted fiercely.
OK... OK, I think I over did my pretense. I wanted attention. Not too much of it.
I stood up defiantly. "Am fine! Am fine! See?" I said loudly across the field so everyone could see me.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Ali asked me from a distance.
"Yea am fine guys" I confirmed.
"OK. I think we done for today. JP and Dean, I think you guys should settle your scores before the match. It's a must!" Kong told them strictly and left the field.
I observed after him and he is huge for a teen! I must comment.
"So much for a team mate!" Hero muttered angrily and left too.
