            <GRADUATION PARTY>

     I looked at my self in the mirror and I widened my eyes in awe. My mum is seriously talented. I mean look at my hair!!! What a beautiful transformation. She made me a braid crown and dropped two curly strands of hair beside my ears. I look so gorgeous in my red slated gown.

     I went downstairs and sat on the dining chair. My mum came out of the kitchen.

"Do you like it?" She asked and I scoffed in disbelief.

"You can't be serious mum... I look beautiful. I know that."

     She sat down beside me and clutched my hands on the table, gazing into my eyes. "Baby, you don't have to go if you don't want to... I mean, you're done there and to me you're now a big star"

"Mum, of course I'll go. It my graduation and I can't miss it for anything in the world. I gat this" I cupped her cheeks assuringly.

"Okay.. If you say so. We need to be out in less than an hour. Are you going with Jamil?"

"No.... I'll see him at the party," I smiled.

"Okay..." She stood up and turned to leave but I don't know what came over me and I felt this sudden feeling... I've never ever felt before. My heart was in panic and then suddenly- "I love you mum!" I blurted but I honestly meant it this time.

     She paused and slowly turned to look at me in shock. "What?..." She asked in a whisper and swallowed hard.
"I said-"

"I heard you... I heard you very clearly, I just....." Immediately tears filled her eyes and she blinked them back. ".... I wanna hear you say it over and over and over again!... But it is fine as long as you mean it. Right?" She came closer to me waiting for an answer anxiously and I gently stood up, facing her.

"I love you mum," I said again. This time more confident and she pulled me into an emotional hug and burst out in tears. Tears of joy...

"I've waited...." Her cries did not allow her speak well. "To hear it!!! Please say it again....... Just, one more time!!!" She cried more, pulling me tighter to her.

"I love you mum" I repeated, and wrapped my arms around her shoulders and she only sniffed and let go of me, looking into my eyes. "I love you tooo!!!" She hugged me again, cleaning her eyes. "Am sorry. I don't want to ruin your moment," She apologized and freed me, wiping her eyes with the back of her palm. "let me freshen up.. You can't be late to your graduation" she lightened up her mood and quickly went upstairs.

    I sighed in relief and smiled to myself.

    Our car halted in front of Heavendale and I sighed before stepping out of the car. I looked around and all eyes were on me. Especially the ones who noticed it was Queen the loser, the rejected one... I smiled and made my way into the school building defiantly.

     It felt like I was on top of the world with these heels. They gave me wings. Every eye was on me as I walked into the hall.

     My eyes locked with Jamil's who was at a corner and we both gazed at each other. Damn! I feel like kissing him right now. He was putting on a white shirt and his suit jacket hung on his right shoulder... He looked more handsome than ever and I swallowed with my mouth slightly opened. I felt his eyes all over my dress and I decided to go over to him.

     I was going closer to him when Hero called my name and I turned to look at him.

"Queen am so sorry about-"
