"But first, we need a base."
"A headquarters!" Sakura clapped.
"Oh! Then we should have a cool name for ourselves, heh heh!" Naruto pipped up.
"And we should have a motto too," Sakura added. "Every self-respecting organization has one!"
"Define self-respecting." I was blatantly ignored.
"Everyone will be terrified of us!" Naruto cheered.
"No no no! We should have a team name that incites joy and welcome, not fear and coldness," Shino objected.
"Do we even need a team name?" I moaned. But the rest of the kids were getting hyped up. Only Hinata patted my arm in consolation.
"Let's see...the Danzo Killers!"
"Hn." Sasuke perked up.
"No!" Baby and I shouted.
"Seems too specific," Shino decided. "Why? Because if we put a person's name and then change the team goal, the name will be nonsensical."
Naruto deflated. Then:
"The Best Shinobi!"
"No, that's too vague. Why? Because there's no personal meaning of the name. There should be a hint of a suggestion of our involvement."
"The Worst Shinobi!"
"Why would we be the worst?!" Sakura glared at Naruto.
"We're technically criminals," I reminded them.
"Yes, but we're taking down the current Hokage, so this is a revolution," Shino retorted.
"Shino, I don't think that's--you know what? Sure. It's a revolution. We're revolutionists."
"Thank you, Sensei."
"But just 'revolutionists?'" Sakura wondered.
"Doesn't sound cool enough..." Naruto complained. "Also sounds really complicated."
Shino looked around. "Anyone else got ideas?"
"Just revolution and please move on," I begged.

With the team name fiasco aside, Itachi wanted to confirm our words.
"How can I know you speak the truth?" Itachi narrowed his eyes at us, then glared at me.
"Oh hey, don't look at me buddy. None of this was my idea, okay?" I quickly backpedaled.
Itachi didn't look convinced.
"Just recon, Nii-san," Sasuke grouched.
Itachi raised an eyebrow at him.
"Yes, Sasuke has the best suggestion. Why? Because as a S-rank nin yourself, you should be able to find out information without requiring our presence," Shino supported.
"Yeah, did you want Konoha to fall under Danzo's reign?" I prodded. "You know it's just gonna get worse if he's in charge, right?"
Itachi paused. Then, said "Fine. I'll investigate this matter."
"Great--!" But he cut me off.
"However if the situation differs from what you say, I'll deal with you all. First and foremost, with you."
He pointed at me.
"Uh...?"
"All in favor?"
"Wait, hang on a second--"
My pitiful "no" was smothered by everyone else's "yes."
"Good." Itachi accepted the not-unanimous agreement.
"But if we are right, then you help us," Shino demanded.
"Hn."
"...Fine."

After satisfying Itachi with our replies, he left.
And we went right back to work.
Shino pointed at the map. "So we're close to this village. Let's get going then."
"Sensei, you good to carry him?"
"Yup, I'm good."
"That's let's go already!"

Thanks to Itachi's info that he left us, the kids and I found the small village at daybreak.
"Wait, so Shino, what's the plan that you made up earlier?" I asked as we traveled.
"We first set up a base, find supplies to treat and sustain us, and then find additional aid who would be willing to help us," Shino replied easily.
"...do you know of someone in mind who would be willing to help us?" I hedged.
"No."
Of course, he doesn't.
"But you would know, right Sensei?"
"...In some ways, sure. Let's follow the first couple of steps of your plan, Shino."
"Right."
