Megan's POV:
i wake up to the sound of Kasey crying and i groan and get out of bed and check my phone, 2:45AM
i groan again and walk over to her room.
"Baby girl... what am i going to do with you huh?" i smile softly, despite the horrible mood im in.
i pick her up and walk over to the windowsill and look out over the backyard.
she stops crying and sucks on her thumb as i rock her back and forth
"oh wont you.. stay with me.... mmm cause you're.. all i need" i sing softly and Kasey looks up at me and giggles
i smile and kiss her forehead
"hey" i hear someone say behind me and i jump and turn to see a sleepy Taylor standing in the doorway
"sorry if we woke you, she was crying" i aplogize and he shrugs and walks over to me
"its fine, is she okay?" he asks, concerned and runs the pad of his thimb across her face
"yeah shes fine, i think she just got restless" i guess and he nods
"come on back to bed babe, its early and shes probably sleepy again" he yawns and i nod and lay Kasey back down in her crib and walk back into my room with Taylor.
i lie down and he does the same, he wraps his arms around me and kisses the back of my neck softly
"i love you" he whispers and i smile
"i love you too" i whisper back and i close my eyes
"are you sleeping?" he asks after a few minutes
"i was trying to" i sigh and roll over so that im facing him
"sorry, i just cant sleep" i smiles sleepily
"why?" i ask
"i dont know, i just cant" he shrugs and scoots closer to me
"try and sleep Taylor, you need it" i whisper and he nods and lays his head on my chest.
he kisses my collarbone and flutters his eyes closed.
i tangle my fingers in his hair and his breathing slows down.
i can tell hes asleep now, so i decide to do the same.

Later that morning, i wake up and Taylor is gone. i check up on Kasey and see that shes still asleep.
i walk down the stairs and see that Taylor and my dad are talking in the kitchen, and me being sneaky, decide to eavesdrop.
i only catch a few words and none of them make sense so i just casually walk into the kitchen
"morning sunshine" my dad smiles and kisses my forehead
"morning dad" i yawn
"hey there, you sleep alright?" Taylor asks and i nod and walk over and peck his lips
"we already fed Kasey before you woke up, being she woke you up early this morning" Taylor tells me as i grab a poptart from the cabinet.
"okay thank you" i smile and my dad leaves the kitchen.
"tonight i was wondering if you wanted to go out? your parents can watch Kasey for us?" Taylor asks and i shrug
"i really dont wanna leave her home yet, being shes only about a week old" i sigh
"come on babe, she'll be fine, trust me?" he pleads and i smile and nod
"you'll go with me tonight?" he beams and i nod again
