Kathryn and the others wait for JJ to change back into his regular clothes, in front of the small bonfire. The suit was 'itchy' and she told him that the bow-tie 'did nothing but hurt her eyes'. John B, who was worried sick since JJ told him about what happened the night before, tugs her to the side.

"What is it?" she asks, worried that he's going to reveal something bad. Again.

He keeps a hand on her arm. She doesn't shrug it off. "JJ told me. About Rafe and last night."

There's obvious relief on Kie and Pope's face at that. None of them wanted to be the one to tell John B.

Kathryn smacks her lips. "Ah."

A muscle twitches in his jaw, and she knows that he's mad. Luckily for her, he's had time to process the information and restrain himself from choking the life out of Rafe.

But he knows Kathryn has enough anger. She doesn't need any more. "Are you okay?"

She blinks, surprised. "I will be," she settles on, because she might.

"Can I hug you?"

A smile escapes her. "Yes."

John B crashes her into a hug. Kathryn buries her head in his chest, and lets out a sigh of contentment. "It's okay, bug."

"I was worried," she tells him. Then, she smirks, and mutters, "Luckily for you, I ran into Sarah."

He immediately parts from her, lips pursed and cheeks red. "You uh... saw Sarah?"

She nods. "I made some interesting discoveries."

"If you're done, I'd like to remind you that my dad is going to kill me," Pope declares. "So what's this mandatory meeting about?"

John B does finger guns at JJ as he comes back, wearing his usual t-shirt. He shrugs. "Might as well tell him, man, before we're gaffed." Well, that's lovely.

"You ready for this?"

Kathryn heaves out a sigh as she sits down. "Hope it was worth the new alliance."
