The funeral was over, the commotion had settled, it was now time to pursue the people who had done this. They had no proof, not even a bullet, but they knew who was responsible for the death of Agent Michael Patrick Kelly.
Agent Holly Franklin was in his office starring at his greatest asset, Agent Manny Hernandez. He was about to send him to Chicago to scout out La Morte. They needed a way in. They needed to know who was who, how many they were going to take down.
Agent Michael Kelly had been following a lead on a massive arms trade. All Holly knew was the last thing Michael told him about was a gut feeling on a family called the Valentinos' and La Morte. They needed verbal proof that the Valentinos' were the ones who took Michael down.
"Find out everything you can. Don't get close but find someone who can get us close when the time comes. Take James with you to get pictures and any recordings you can without being seen," Agent Franklin said.
Agent Hernandez knew exactly what was required of him. He was to be nonexistent, just another face in a crowd of people, there one second and gone the next. Agent Hernandez gave a nod and left to pack his gear.
