Shuichi walked down the street towards his home while staring mindlessly at the card given to him by Tsumugi.

He kept thinking over the idea of it in his head. He didn't like to rely on others because it made him feel like a burden to them and preferred handling his problems on his own. Even if it was someone who's job it was to help.

He eventually made it to his fancy house, one too lavish to him but one his girlfriend absolutely adored. He turned the key in the lock and opened the door to see Kaede in the kitchen making some dinner, a glass of red wine in her hand. She looked back at him and smiled sweetly

"Hello honey~! Glad you're here." she said hastily as she placed dinner on the table. Shuichi smiled back happily. He came closer to her and kissed her with a soft smile.

"I'm happy to see you too." he said to which Kaede chuckled and sat down by the dinner table, Shuichi doing the same. Kaede refilled her glass which was now empty and glanced down at the phone clearly texting someone.

"Hey, Kaede?" Shuichi asked his girlfriend as she drank her red wine. It was expensive but she liked all things expensive. Shuichi really didn't like wine so it was hers only.

"Hmm? What is it?" She said, putting down the glass, eyes drifting away from her phone.

"W-Well you've been really complaining about how the house is a complete mess and I've got a lot of work coming up so-" Kaede interrupted him.

"If you think I'm gonna clean the room you keep your stacks of books in, you're wrong. There's tons of dust and cobwebs laying on each one of those books, not to mention they're unorganized and lazily lying on the bookcase. It disgusts me." she said as she took another large gulp of her wine. Shuichi sighed.

"No I...Tsumugi suggested we should hire a maid and she told me that Kirumi knows someone. I was wondering if you'd be okay with that?" he asked. Kaede's eyes widened and a smile seemed to grace her lips.

She put down her glass "Hmm a maid? That's a pretty good idea. Okay, we could hire a maid." she said. Shuichi smiled at her.

"Okay I'll call Kirumi. " he's said. She nodded when suddenly her phone got a notification. She looked at it and made a cheery expression.

"Miu has a celebration party because of her newest invention! And she invited me! Yay!" she squeaked, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.

"Shuichi you don't mind if I go, do you?" she then asked to which Shuichi shook his head. He was used to Kaede always leaving the house. She grinned at him

"Okay! I'll go and dress now and then I'm gonna leave. Knowing Miu the party will be long so I might be home late. Kay, hun?" she said as she pecked Shuichi on the lips and went into their closet to change. Shuichi sighed, he was gonna be home alone again.

He took out his phone and dialed Kirumi. Might as well call her now right? Finally, Kirumi picked up the phone and her serious yet delicate voice could be heard through the phone. "Hello, Shuichi. How are you doing?" she asked. She was probably wondering why he was calling her, they're not the closest of friends after all.

"Um, hi Kirumi? Listen, I was just wondering, Tsumugi said that you know a good maid that could work for us? With Kaede's work and my work, cleaning the house has become overwhelming and we really need help" Shuichi asked, hoping he didn't sound too desperate. He didn't want to sound desperate, even if he kinda was.

"Oh, you're looking for a maid? Well, I do know a certain boy who's pretty good at what he's doing..." she said.

"His name's Kokichi Ouma. He used to be my annoying friend in middle school before we parted ways when I went to Milky Way High School. I think you two met each other once before when we all hanged out in middle school, but only once. I doubt you to remember each other." she continued with her happy voice.

"Well, could you give me his number so that I can call him?" Shuichi asked.

"Yes, it's uhhh...." Shuichi could hear her flipping papers on her desk "Oh yeah I got it. It's..." she said reading out the phone number quickly.

"Okay, thanks Kirumi," Shuichi said with a smile.

"I'm glad to help," Kirumi said and Shuichi could tell she was smiling. They said their goodbyes and eventually Kirumi hanged up.

And with nothing better to do, he quickly went to work on case files he had almost forgotten about. Once he was finished with the case files, he pulled out the card with the maid company's number.

Reluctantly Shuichi picked up the phone and called the number. The phone rang for a while before a girl picked up.

"Good morning, I'm the senior advisor Himiko Yumeno of D.I.C.E. Maid Company, how may I help you?" the girl had an sleepy voice and sounded like him at the end of each day. Dead inside.

"O-Oh, my friend Amami-kun recommended your service to me???" Shuichi stuttered. He wasn't good with phone calls due to his anxiety.

"Mr. Rantaro Amami? Yes, he's been our partner for some time. If you want a maid you need to fill out the form." the girl stated. After a while of filling out the information everything was done and the new maid would be arriving tomorrow. Shuichi let out a sigh as he hung up the phone.

He was still unsure of the idea but he knew he needed some sort of help. He sighed once again. He'll just have to see...

The maid will come tomorrow after all.

Himiko put down the phone as she turned to her side to spot the purple haired maid peeking through the door to her office.

"Nyeh... Ouma-kun what are you doing here?" the red haired girl complained. The purple haired boy giggled.

"I actually came here to quit. This job's soooo boring. I keep cleaning for pervs who just wanna see a cute boy lean over in a maid uniform nishishi~" Ouma-kun laughed as the girl looked at him shocked.

"Nyeh!?!?! You can't quit! You just got a new client thanks to that job at Amami-chan's!" Himiko sputtered before she noticed a smirk on the boy's face. Her eyes narrowed "You're lying again aren't you?" she sighed. The boy giggled.

"You're getting better at spotting my lies Himiko-chan! I'm so proud of you I wanna cry wahhhh!" the boy fake sobbed. Himiko sighed.

"Stop! You're being annoying again... How you managed to get such a high reputation with a personality of a rat I'll never know... " Himiko let out a huff. Kokichi pouted.

"At least I'm not Miss. Can't-make-it-as-a-magician~" He teased. Himiko was about to stand up to scold him but ended up faceplanting into the floor instead "Oh, Himiko-can you're so clumsy! You know I didn't mean to offend you!" he giggled crouching down and helping the red head of the ground.

"Nyeh, yeah yeah, tone it down or I'll report you to the HQ" Himiko said before walking back to her desk to grab a file. She passed it towards him. "Here's their address. You start tomorrow morning, now leave my office" she huffed getting back to her work. Ouma-kun nodded.

"OK Himi-chan! I'll get on it! Tell your girlfriend uhh, Tenko was her name i think, I said hi!" he said swiftly walking out the door. Himiko blushed.

"H-Hey!"
