Celine Wilson

I looked at Malcolm for a moment before putting the book down and giving him my full attention.

Malcolm: I know what my mother did, and you should know I had nothing to do with that. It may not mean much coming from me, but I am sorry

Celine: I want her to know her grandparents Malcolm-the one's that she has left anyway, but if your mother went as far as to have my blood drawn at an appointment-what wouldn't she do?

Malcolm: You said her...it's a girl?

Celine: Oh yea, sorry. I found out at the last appointment.

Malcolm: My mother did make a point; we should get you a new doctor. There's no reason it should've been so easy for her to get your blood

Celine: Yea, I've been looking for a new one all day

Malcolm: We're gonna have a daughter

I smiled; I was pretty happy to find out. I had told Ainsley earlier and all she said was 'I told you so' and I'll be honest I did want a girl. I wasn't going to let what Jessica did have an effect on me anymore, she would either be a part of her granddaughter's life or she wouldn't.

A couple of days had passed, and Malcolm said he was taking me to go and get breakfast, and who was I to pass up on free food. I was excited, until we ended up at his mother's house.

Celine: Malcolm-

Malcolm: We won't be here long, I promise

I sighed and got out of the car following him inside the house. A buffet of breakfast had been prepared and Jessica was sitting at the table waiting, when she realized we were here she stood up.

Jessica: You made it, please sit

Malcolm: Before we start I have something I need to say. Yes, you are my mother, but Celine is the mother of my child. Yes, she & I have a family together now, but she's also a part of this family. So, you're going to have to respect her if you want to be in your granddaughter's life.

Jessica: I was hoping we could eat first but you're absolutely right son. I was wrong and Celine I sincerely apologize. I'd like to get to know you better if that'd be alright with you.

Celine: Of course

Jessica: To show how sorry I am um-Malcolm told me most of the things you crave for breakfast so here we are, and I have one more surprise

We walked up the stairs into a room that had been turned into a nursery, it already had clothes in the closet.

Malcolm: When did you have time to do all of this?

Jessica: Well I started the day after I'd called Celine to my house and I'm so glad it's a girl because that was just wishful thinking. So, whenever you two are caught up at work she can come and stay with Nonna

Malcolm: *chuckles* you picked a name

Jessica: Honey, I'm still too fabulous to be a grandma

Celine: Nonna and Nana, fun

Malcolm: Celine's mother picked Nana

Celine: I don't know if the smell of pancakes is as intoxicating to you as it is for me but I'm just gonna go

I exited the nursery and went to enjoy the food that had been prepared. After we ate, we went back to Malcolm's place and I laid down on the couch. To say the least we didn't let any of the food go to waste. Malcolm came and plopped down next to me.

Malcolm: That went well

Celine: Yea...it did

Malcolm: You tired?

Celine: Exhausted, you?

Malcolm: I'm fine

Celine: Liar

I leaned my head over on his shoulder, soon I heard the sound of his light snores. I smiled to myself before letting sleep take over.
