Songs: Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran & All The Way by Lyrica Anderson

A/N: This chapter is named after the Lyrica Anderson song even though I attached the Ed Sheeran link. I just couldn't find the original version on youtube. If you want to listen to the All The Way, go through spotify. They have the original version, which is really good, for the record.

Okay, on the story...

5 weeks later- LAILA'S POV

We had been in the car for about 3 hours. It was starting to get dark.

When I had agreed to go to the wedding, I didn’t realize it was a destination wedding and we’d be gone all weekend. I didn’t mind though. Jorden and I had been dating for a little over a month and it was absolute perfection. I felt so blessed to have him.

I look over at Jorden who is driving with so much focus I have to laugh. His sister Ashley was in the backseat telling me about all the crazy things Jorden used to do when he was younger. It was kinda funny but not as funny as the way she laughed at her own stories. Her laugh was definitely infectious.

We finally get to this giant house, possibly a mansion. It had a long gravel drive way and a huge front yard with a fountain. This was going to be interesting.

I get out of the car and help with bags as best as I can before a couple of guys come out to great us. They’re loud and buff and identical?

They look like the dramatized football jocks of a high school movie, but in their mid 40s. They were wrestling with each other and walking.

“Jordennnn” they yelled in unison. They walk up to him and they all greet each other how guys do.

They both kiss Ashley on the forehead.

“And who is this?” one says smiling at me and extends his hand for a handshake.

“Hubba hubba.” The other one says and they laugh together. “Paws off.” Jorden says breaking the handshake and wrapping his arms around me.

“Guys, this is my girlfriend Laila. Laila, my uncle Jimmy and uncle Jason.”

They both wiggle their eyebrows up and down and say “Hey hey hey, now I know what you’re thinking. But, we’re not twins we were just born together.”

“Wombmates.” The other blurts out. They both burst out laughing. I can’t help but laugh too. They were like something out of a cartoon.

We take our things up to our rooms and on the way back down, I notice an older woman looking at me from the dining room. I think she may have been Jorden’s aunt.

She didn’t smile, just stared.

“There he is.” Another woman said coming out of the kitchen. She kissed his cheek.

“Hey mom.” He says smiling and hugging her. “And you must be Laila.” She smiles and pulls me into a hug as well.

“Hi Mrs.Collins.” I say smiling. “She is pretty,” She says nudging her son.

“And she’s not as twiggy as that poor Brandy girl.”

“Mom.” He says sternly.

“Alright. Alright. Ashleeeyyyy.” She greets her daughter with kisses and hugs. She was so warm. You could tell she was a good mom and she really loves her kids.

“Are you guys hungry?” She asks. “I just made homemade pizza. Go grab a slice. I know you’re hungry. Go Go Go.”

“Okay. We’re going.” Jorden and Ashley both said.
