I always used to observe her,
She was so happy,
And so cheerful.
Always among her gang of friends,
A smile always adorned her cheeks,
And fun always followed her aura.
She was so beautiful and carefree,
I wished my life was like her.
Socialized, a friend zone to crash on,
And so many things more.
Yet in all those actions,
I never noticed her tears.
Tears of sadness, anger and pain,
I never knew how broken she felt inside,
And how messed up her life was,
Because I fell for the facade she laid.
I tripped badly and chaos hit me hard;
The chaos she survived in,
And the darkness she shined for.
It wasn't until she asked me
If I could lend her a shoulder,
To cry and vent her feelings out
That I realised how much she'd really lost.
How much she'd left unsaid
And that was when I called her the most beautiful.
Cause she rose above her scars,
And hit the button of life and happiness again.
