♥ the devil

Dear Angel,

You were so innocent and sweet
Wearing your heart on sleeves
You run around the house in spree
Until the devil catches your sight,
And you decide to dance with him in night.

He pushes you down to the flames of hell,
Breaking your innocence and purity,
And the person you called your better half,
Saved you from burning to ashes.
Yet somewhere you lost yourself,
In the savages of hell.

You never wanted to feel again,
Anything and everything was dumb.
Trying to escape from every reality,
And color yourself with hues of doom.

Tell me was it easy,
When the devil was ravishing you,
And your dad bade this world adieu?

Tell me was it easy,
To confess even a small part,
Which you had to lie about?

Tell me it was easy,
Every time your broken pieces
Fell apart and hurt him.

Tell me was it easy,
To accept anyone in life,
When you ere always scared?

Tell me was it easy,
To even admit someone ruined you,
Just the way he was scared of?

Tell me was it easy,
When you wanted to cry your heart out
Every time he showered you with his love?

Tell me you didn't flinch,
When you were reminded of his love,
But it was tainted with darkness?

Tell me you didn't sleep,
Every time you felt too much,
But were afraid to be misjudged.

Tell me you wanted too much,
And hug was still your best medicine,
But wanted to be understood in silence.

Every time you made love,
And every time you gave in,
You flinched and shuddered loud inside,
Cause the demons were tainting it with night.

He walked with you
In good times or bad
Worst times or best
Hand in hand and
Side by side,
Never did he once run away.
Curing you from inside out,
Never once thinking about himself.

And yet,
Just one more time,
When the devils ravished you
You didn't find the door to go out.

Yes, it was never easy
But not that you gave up.
You walked through fire and flames,
To make yourself strong and brave,
Just like the iron does in its grave.

Yes you broke down
Several times breaking your bone.
But not that it ever broke,
The beautiful soul you proudly carry.
