this was their last full day. their last day as young and carefree men before they had to return to their lives as idols. neither of them wanted to give up their just gained freedom and free time but they did not have much of a choice. it was somehow a silent agreement that for this last day they wouldn't speak of tomorrow and the days after. just like the days before they ignored what was coming and lived how they pleased.

this evening there was a little family party for donghyuck (and mark of course) to say good bye. when his mother told him donghyuck hugged her and whispered his thanks to her. she patted his back in understanding.

the two boys were doing the last activity on marks notes today, tandem paragliding. over the morning an idea had plopped up in donghyuck's head and as much as he tried to shoo it away it stayed on his mind. somehow his brain was thinking that when they would be up in the air it would be a good idea to confess to mark. he knew how much trouble that would bring with it but his brain kept on telling him that it was then or never.

mark noticed how donghyuck spaced out a lot but he didn't mention it. he was sure the boy had a lot on his mind so mark just tried to distract him. since it was saturday the whole family was home. donghyucks mother suggested that they could go to the market all together and the boys agreed since their booked tandem paragliding was not until in the afternoon.

they walked together, donghyuck's mother clinging onto donghyuck. donghyuck's brother and mark were talking about rapping since the young boy loved to hear about it. donghyucks father was just walking along smiling happily. mark looked at them all and felt grateful. ever since he became friends with hyuck the latters family welcomed him with opened arms. he felt like he was part of the family and it made his heart warm in content.

at one point donghyucks mother stopped at a street shop that was selling soap and she told mark and donghyuck to go ahead since it would take a while. donghyuck's brother looked at them with envy since his mother wouldn't let him join the two young men. mark mouthed a sorry to him and the younger boy smiled.

"you know, sometimes i like your brother more than i like you." mark said while the two were walking through the crowd.

"hey, that's not nice." donghyuck pouted and mark cooed at him. he grinned and spoke "don't worry, he's gonna be my brother in law. i should get along with him."

donghyuck's eyes widened and he hit mark, exclaiming "why are you so flirty recently?! it's not good for my health."

"oh come on. i know you love it." mark replied. donghyuck blushed at this, glad that mark couldn't see it because of his mask. both of them were wearing one, just in case.

the two young men walked around for a bit, stopping at some shops before going back to donghyuck's family. it was midday now and so they went back home to have a little snack before mark and donghyuck had their tandem paragliding.

they ate some ramen and after donghyuck's father drove them to the place where they would be getting set up. they registered and then got to drive up the mountain from where they would fly down again. both guys, but especially mark, were becoming a bit nervous and one couldn't blame them. the higher they drover the paler the two boys got. at the top an instructor greeted them and showed them everything.

actually it was easy, they would have to run a few steps and then they would be in the air. it sounded good when they first read about it but when they first saw how far down they would fly both males gulped. they each got a copilot who would fly with them. and then it was time.
