donghyuck woke up to the sound of mark's alarm. he checked the time on the elders phone, not missing the way he himself was mark's wallpaper. the clock showed six thirty and donghyuck was wondering why the hell mark set his alarm so early. then he remembered and his heart sunk. today was the day. today they had to fly back to seoul.

mark was finally moving, tussling around before opening his eyes. "god, what time is it?" he asked donghyuck as he rubbed his eyes. donghyuck cooed at the man and answered "six thirty. we gotta get up. you still have to pack."

mark groaned and laid back down, pulling donghyuck with him. the younger tried to wiggle free but marks grip just tightened. he buried his head in the crook of donghyuck's neck and took in the smell of the younger before kissing his neck lightly. donghyuck smiled at the sweet action but nonetheless scolded mark.

"you should really get up, come on." he told him but mark didn't move one inch. then the younger had an idea he kissed mark who, of course, responded. during the kiss he slowly dragged himself up so mark would too if he wanted to keep their lips connected. he got mark as far as sitting up completely before parting again.

"you're sneaky." mark commented and donghyuck grinned in response. he quickly pecked mark one last time before pulling himself off the mattress.

"if you're not fully dressed and packed in ten minutes you're not getting a single kiss from me today." he informed mark. this seemed to wake the elder up completely and he was already starting to undress when donghyuck left the room, laughing.

the two met again in the kitchen where there were two lunch packs waiting for the boys. donghyuck's mother had prepared them last night. the woman was humming while making breakfast. she told the two boys good morning before ordering them to eat.

"i'll drive you to the airport." she informed them and mark thanked her. they ate in silence since it was too early for both boys and donghyuck's mother seemed to be not completely awake yet as well.

after finishing their breakfast mark packed the rest of his stuff while donghyuck entered his brother's room. he quietly woke the boy up to tell him goodbye, his heart hurting at the sight of his brother being all sleepy. the siblings hugged for a bit before donghyuck left the room so his brother could go back to sleep. meanwhile donghyuck's father woke up and when the boys and donghyuck's mother got ready he hugged not only donghyuck but also mark tightly, telling them goodbye.

the trio made their way to the airport where they were already greeted by their manager. donghyuck hugged his mother, wiping some of her tears away.

"it'll be just a few weeks, mom. i'll visit you right when i come back and finish the tour." he whispered to her.

"i know, it's just... i love you, darling." she patted the top of his head. donghyuck took one last deep breath before separating himself from his mother. he did not want to tear up as well.

the woman now turned to mark, also engulfing him in a hug.
"please take care of hyuckie, okay?" she requested.

"of course, you know i'll always do." the canadian reassured her and she let go. she waved them goodbye as they entered the airport.

they soon sat in the plane, donghyuck cuddling himself into mark. the latter had held his hand ever since they entered the plane and donghyuck was glad he did. hw would miss all the skin ship the two had been sharing over the past days.

"hey." he nudged mark.

"huh?" mark looked up from his phone.

"thank you. for everything but especially for the last days. it was amazing." the younger male spoke after finding the right words. mark looked at him with the biggest heart eyes and quickly pecked his nose.

"what are you doing? what if someone sees us?" donghyuck hissed but mark just laughed "so what? i don't care anymore."

this was dangerous and mark knew it. but he didn't lie. if he wanted to kiss donghyuck's nose who was there to stop him. he tried to savour all the time the two had left together. it felt like the past days had been flying by and mark wasn't ready to give his freedom up.

donghyuck blushed and scolded mark but he couldn't really say he didn't enjoy it. he did crush on mark after all, maybe he was even falling for the older boy. so who was he to reject a kiss on the nose? it wasn't like they were snogging up or anything.

the flight passed quickly and when they landed their manager informed them he would drive them directly back to the dorms. they would sleep there for another few days while holding their opening concert in seoul. then they would fly to america.

neither mark nor donghyuck were delusional. they knew once they entered the dorms until they finished the tour there was no time at all for any activities for just the two of them. that was if they weren't sharing a room in one of the many destinations.

when the time came and they stood in front of the door they could already hear shouting from the inside. just when donghyuck was about to open the door mark held him back.

"one last kiss?" he asked and who was donghyuck to deny that request. they connected their lips for what they knew would be the last time in weeks if not months. mark held donghyuck's face, blending out everything else around them. he just focused on the softness of the younger's lips, his taste, his smell. he took everything in before finally parting himself. donghyuck still had his eyes closed which made mark conclude that donghyuck had done pretty much the same thing as him.

he chuckled and donghyuck opened his eyes. they looked at each other and mark smiled sweetly before opening the door to their dorm.

indeed it was chaotic inside. chenle and jisung were audibly arguing in the living room while jaemin was complaining about something to jeno and renjun.

"mark-hyung! hyuckieee!" renjun yelled and ran up to them. he first hugged mark and then donghyuck. this alarmed the other members who were now surrounding the boys, asking all kinds of questions.

mark laughed. what else did he expect from his members. "i'll tell you when we're eating. i'm starving." he answered in reply to the many questions. just in time an alarm in the kitchen went off, signalising the food was done.

the dream members ate all together, everyone telling each other what they had been doing. it was chaotic but nice. but it also tired mark who had been up since early obviously. he glanced at donghyuck but the boy showed no signs of being tired.

"i'll go to bed. we were up early today." he informed the members. "remember we have practice in the stadium tomorrow so don't stay up too late or i'll kill you. good night." he continued and all the members wished him a good night.

mark washed up, laid down and was asleep within a few minutes. donghyuck followed the boy to their room half an hour after. he advised the members to do the same and go to bed early. he cuddled himself up next to mark, trying not to think about how this would be one of the last times he could do this.

he just hoped everything would turn out for the best. maybe after the tour they would continue to live in the dream dorms so he could keep on sharing a room with mark. it would be perfect.

he pecked mark's forehead, something that had become routine so effortlessly. just as god had intended that mark's forehead, nose and cheeks were so soft that you couldn't resist kissing them. and donghyuck did not even want to start about the older's lips, probably the nicest he had ever felt. oh, how he loved mark. with every peck, kiss, look they shared he realised it more. maybe one day, he could explore that love for mark, just like he had been doing it in the past five days.

he closed his eyes, enjoying mark's comfortable warmth and fell asleep to the boy's heartbeat which were familiar to him by now.
