a loud scream could be heard. mark sighed and walked into the kitchen were his mother stood. she wordlessly pointed at a spider. mark rolled his eyes and removed the spider for his mother all while donghyuck was giggling the whole time. the two would get picked up in ten minutes from now and mark decided to tell them goodbye already. as much as he loved his parents they were pretty chaotic. his father already waited at the door and his mother and hyuck were following mark to the entrance of the house.

"bye dad, bye mom! i love you!" he said and hugged both his parents. donghyuck bowed and told them 'goodbye' as well. mark's mother smiled at him and pinched his cheeks.

"good bye donghyuck! feel free to come here whenever you want." she said and hugged the boy. mark sighed and noted "so you like him more than me, got it!" his mother laughed and gave him a look.

"you know, i love you. you'll always be my baby." she commented and mark blushed. his father and donghyuck just laughed. their taxi arrived and the two waved at mark's parents one last time before entering the car.

on their way back to the hotel mark noticed how nervous donghyuck was. so he decided to speak up and ask "is everything okay, love?"

"i- i wanted to ask you if it's alright with you if we tell the dreamies about our relationship." donghyuck mumbled. mark was taken aback, he had not expected donghyuck to share their just official relationship already. but he did not see a problem with it. they would find out at one point or another anyways.

"okay. but let's ease them into it." he responded and donghyuck's face lit up.

"thank you hyungie! we could just drop hints and tell them after the tour. that would probably be less stressful for all of us." the boy said.

so that's what they did. over the course of the next months they hinted their relationship. never on camera, only when they were alone with their members. donghyuck would kiss mark a lot, never on the lips but on the cheek, nose and forehead. they both could always sense when one of the members was surprised by how close they've gotten but it was never mentioned. neither was the way mark and donghyuck would often end up sleeping together wether it was on the couch or in one of their beds.

donghyuck became frustrated as the boys did not seem to get any hint at all but mark held him back. he could see that at least renjun and jeno had a suspicion that something was going on between him and hyuck. jaemin and chenle meanwhile were actually completely oblivious and mark didn't know what jisung was thinking. if he had any suspicions he did not show it.

besides all that trouble the young men were also obviously busy with their tour. they finished america and europe so fast it literally felt like a blink of an eye. before they knew it they were back in korea. the last concerts were held in daegu and busan before the three day end concerts in seoul. all three days were completely booked out much to the joy of everyone but if course that also meant high expectations. every member was now physically and emotionally exhausted. mark hadn't eaten in two days, the only snack he ate was on the airplane from busan to seoul. he knew that jeno was also strictly not eating. mark made sure donghyuck, chenle and especially jisung were fit enough for the last shows. the latter had experienced an accident during a practice in japan and therefore had to be very cautious.

they got two days off before their three last shows. one to rest and one day to practice. during the first day nobody even moved out of their bed. the two youngest members slept through while renjun and donghyuck were playing games together in the oldest's hotel room. jeno, jaemin and mark sat down in the cafeteria of the hotel.

"everything hurts." jaemin sighed and massaged his leg.

"let me do it for you." jeno suggested and took the youngers leg to rub it. mark meanwhile had his eyes closed, enjoying the smell of fresh coffee and some baked goods they had bought at the cafeteria. one manager was sitting with them but the man was occupied by his phone so mark didn't bother conversing with the man.
