Kaiyo's Pov

In the end, Momo and Shoto won against Aizawa-sensei.

When the door behind us opens, Momo and Iida entered with smiles on their faces. "Momo! Great job!" I grin, holding a thumbs up at her.

She jogs towards me. "Thank you, Kaiyo-chan! You and Todoroki were a big help bringing me back up to my feet." She said. "I'm sorry for worrying you back then. I didn't mean to be so transparent."

"It's nothing. What matters is you're more confident with your own abilities now." I said. "It will open more possibilities in the future."

She nods her head. "Right, Todoroki-kun's in one of the waiting rooms if you want to see him."

"Ah, right! I should pay Peppermint a visit." I stretched my arms up and turned around to the direction of the door.

"Like a good girlfriend?" Momo teases.

"WHAT?!"

Iida, Tsu, Midoriya, and Ochaco turned to me when they heard Momo's comment.

"YOU'RE WITH TODOROKI-KUN?!"

"BYE!"

I ran out of the watch room as fast as I could, successfully escaping the screaming Ochaco demanding for an explanation. "Ah, Momo!" I yelled while running. "Now, they won't shut up about it!"

"Kaiyo?"

I stopped on my tracks when I was suddenly called. Turning to the left, I saw one of the waiting rooms opened with Shoto's head peeking out. "Hi?" I said awkwardly.

"Why were you running?"

I welcomed myself inside the room, pushing him a little harshly inside before looking out the hallway to see if anyone was nearby. When I saw no one, I closed the door completely and sighed in relief.

"Momo mentioned me being your girlfriend and the others heard it." I whined. My body slumps down while leaning against the door. "Looks like my peaceful days are over."

He chuckles, holding my hands and pulling me up on my feet rather easily.

Was I that light, or maybe he's too strong.

Maybe he's too strong, I eat a lot.

"Tell me all about it." He says.

He leads me to the tables and let me sit on a chair before seating himself beside me. I propped my elbows on the smooth surface of the table and rested my cheek on my palm.

"Well, I was just congratulating her about winning and all. You see, I'm such a good friend. How can she do that to me?" I joked. "Anyway, so she told me you're in the waiting room if I want to see you, so I said maybe I should and went to leave, but she said something before I left."

"And that is?"

"Like a good girlfriend?" I mimicked her voice the best I can, making him laugh. "Then the rest yelled when they heard and Ochaco looked like she was about to singlehandedly trap me down the ground if I didn't run for my life faster than freaking cheetahs."

"I can only imagine." Shoto chuckled. "Do you need water? Anything?"

"No, no, I'm fine." I mumbled. "What's worse is we're not even that just yet. It would be hard to explain that to the girls."

"Just answer what they ask for." He hums.

"Shoto, you obviously haven't talked to many girls for the fifteen years you've been alive." I groaned. I let my upper body slump on the table. "Girls are vicious and scary detectives who work better than the FBI themselves."
