Kaiyo's PoV

"Tokoyami! I told you to make your notes more distinct, bird head!" Bakugo breaks his drumsticks in two out of rage.

It was the final rehearsal before the festival and the hedgehog was making sure that everyone is performing well during rehearsals, so that we will be more confident once on stage. He really was serious about killing UA with our music. His eyes were even flaring while he was beating the drums.

"You think you can destroy UA with those weak riffs?!"

"What does that mean?" Tokoyami asks our leader, Jiro.

"Tokoyami, it's in lesson 3." She replies.

I chuckled, resting my arm on the neck of my electric guitar as she guided Tokoyami with the riffs for his rhythm. Kaminari is also doing surprisingly well for someone who just learned to play the guitar in a month. He was a fast learner, so we didn't have much of a problem helping him.

We were all able to play in sync after the countless nights of practicing our own pieces. Momo's keyboard was a perfect synthesizer too.

"We're gonna fucking kill all of them! All of them!" Bakugo screams.

"Alright, you explosive hedgehog." I laughed as I handed him a new pair of drumsticks to use. Ever since he first broke them, I have been donating my previous drumsticks for him to use. It irks me every time he breaks one, but at least he'll buy me new ones after this. If he doesn't, only Heaven knows what I'll do to pulverize him.

My drumsticks are precious and should be taken care of with care. He should be lucky that I've been willingly giving them to him.

"Let's have a final rehearsal, then head to bed early for tonight." Jiro said. "It's important for us to have proper rest before the performance, after all."

"Can we all watch?"

We turned to the other Class A gathering around the lounge. We were practicing on the empty space beside the sofa set.

"We'll be your practice audience!" Hagakure exclaims.

"Sure," Jiro grinned. "If anyone ever finds a flaw, tell us after the round, so we can polish it tomorrow."

"Okay!"

The day after, we were all early to arrive in the school campus grounds to prepare for the performance. We were all in our assigned attires, but someone is running late. Midoriya was told to buy ropes earlier this morning for the elevation plan, but it's taking him awhile to return.

Did something happen?

Midoriya isn't one to be late, especially on an important day.

"You're worried."

I snapped out of my thoughts, turning to Shoto standing beside me. I slid my guitar to my back and let the straps keep it above ground. "Yeah, it's taking him so long." I said.

"Don't worry. He'll be fine." He reassures. His hand comes up to pat my head, making me chuckle in response. I thanked him and reached up to kiss his cheek before bidding him farewell to get the instruments ready on stage.

He is working with the effects team, so he had to gather with the rest of the effects team to prepare upstage. I walked to the stage, the large curtains hiding us from the crowd that was piling up behind that thick stretch of cloth.
