Third Person View

Kaiyo carefully tucks Eri in her bed and let the girl rest for awhile, reassuring her that she will be there when she wakes up. The poor girl was too scared of sleep, thinking that she will wake up at the same place that she escaped from. Kaiyo cannot let that happen until she was sure about the things that are going on.

There is only too much she can handle in one life.

"Sweet dreams." She whispered, kissing the girl on her forehead lightly before she completely drifted off to sleep.

As Eri's eyes closed, Kaiyo straightened her back and stepped away from her bed. Todoroki stands by the door frame, leaning his shoulder on it with his arms crossed while watching them. "You've always had a soft spot for kids." He mumbled, remembering how her eyes would sparkle whenever they see a child when they walk home, or when they go to the hospital and pass by the daycare. "You'd be a great mother."

"Let's hope that's true." Kaiyo chuckles.

She leads Todoroki back downstairs to where they once were and sat across from him on the sofa. Her hand reached up to tuck her hair behind her ear habitably. "So, why did you really come here?"

"You can start by explaining why you want to leave UA." Todoroki leans back against the cushioned seat rather comfortably, already knowing that this talk will take awhile.

Now that Kaiyo got a better look of him, he was wearing casual clothes instead of their uniform. He must have changed back inside the dorms before heading here. This was their first day moving in.

"I tried to think of what I'd feel if I were to find out that one of my peers is actually a murderer." Kaiyo took a deep breath. "It's not exactly a good feeling, so I thought that my absence will help you focus better in training. I can't risk dragging the rest of you because of my own mistakes."

"Aizawa-sensei cleared the air when we were at the dorms. He said that it was self-defense, not homicide. You're innocent." Todoroki said. "And if you're wondering what the class feels, they're more upset of you leaving than the news. They know that you're not one to commit murder."

"But I did. Whether or not it's self-defense, I still took a life away. No, fifteen lives." Kaiyo looks away from the bi-colored male and glue her eyes to her lap. Her arms instinctively folded on her chest, as if it was her only way of protecting herself from the thoughts running inside her head. "And the fact that I lied to you about not knowing the full capacity of my quirk is eating me up. I'm sorry."

Todoroki's lips pursed together, eyes still narrowed on her figure. He knows that she was speaking the truth. Kaiyo wouldn't put herself in a worse situation than the one she was already facing.

And he knows her, despite not knowing of her past. He knows who she is now, in the present, where she accepted and made up for her past mistakes. It was only haunting her now, but it was dealt with long ago.

"Now that I know a bit of it, I understand why you did." He said softly. "You can always talk to me. Knowing about your past never changed the way I feel for you, Kaiyo."

Endeavor's words suddenly rang in her mind once again.

Calling it off with him will make things lighter, she knows that, but Todoroki himself wasn't about to let her go. He would be too stubborn to let that happen.

"Your mother already knows about me." She chuckled bitterly. "And your father. You deserve to know everything too."

~Flashback~

"The power couple, Nozomi and Masanori, passed away one week ago fighting against All-For-One, the said rival of the number one hero, All  Might. Their scheduled burial is today at exactly 1 o'clock in the afternoon. We offer our condolences to all of their friends, relatives, and pro-heroes who were acquainted with the honored heroes."
