Kaiyo's PoV
The next few days were just like normal in UA.
This Homeroom period, Aizawa just announced that we will be having a school festival, which excited the others almost immediately. However, one of us was being pretty anxious because of the recent happenings.
"Sensei, is it really okay for us to hold a festival during this time?!" Kirishima stands from his seat with a panicked expression.
"Kirishima, you've changed!" Kaminari exclaims.
"But, it's true! Villains are still out there and we need to be vigilant!"
I planted my elbow on my desk, resting my cheek on the inside of my palm as I released a sigh. It is true, but we cannot just neglect the fact that UA had other courses too. The Sports Festival was the time for Hero Courses to shine, but this is the way of the other courses to be able to showcase their own talents.
"It is true," Aizawa said, getting in his yellow sleeping bag. "That's a reasonable opinion, but the hero course isn't the only course available in UA. Since they didn't get much attention from the Sports Festival where the hero course were able to shine, this school festival is their moment."
"Now hearing that, it is wrong for us to not hold it." Kirishima says, understanding why UA decided to hold a school festival despite the threats out there.
It is also important to put up a front. If UA, the most prestigious hero school in the entire country, doesn't move on with their academic schedule, then the media will obviously catch sight of it too. People will be in distraught if they see the school where top heroes are teaching, show that they are setting their alert too high.
Worst case scenario is that fear would continue to spread around the country and cause the public to panic.
It was a good move to hold the school festival to show not only the students but the citizens will feel at ease.
"You have the entire period to decide what to do. Be sure to be productive."
Aizawa slides down the left corner of the room and began sleeping, making the others deadpan. I chuckled at our teacher's normal behavior.
Momo and Iida went up front as the class representatives and began taking suggestions from the others. Everyone had different opinions on what we should do.
Bakugo even suggested a death match.
It feels nice that we get to enjoy a normal class activity like this. We have a full month to prepare and think of how to make a performance that will cater to what the rest of the students are feeling.
Majority would surely feel frustrated with all the things going on right now. It only feels right that we do something about it.
"It would be nice if we can pull off a concert." I hummed to myself, not knowing that Shoto was listening to me. "If only we could form a band with the class. That would definitely be awesome."
Music is my personal way of coping and feeling better. I know for a fact that it's the same to others, but I cannot speak for everyone. Sighing, I suggested a video game hub, which is pretty much impossible since the school's electric bill will skyrocket if it ever gets approved.
Kaminari and the other boys were easily wooed by my suggestion and excitedly began talking about video games. Sero turns from his seat in front of me and asked if I got to buy the newest RPG game that was just released this week.
"You mean Gun Rebel?" I grinned. "Yeah, I actually pre-ordered a copy and only received it this morning. I bought one for console, though."
"Really?! Man, I was going to buy one, but the shop sold out in just the first day!"
