Chapter 18

   

                              CHAPTER 18 

Jakes POV

I throw myself down and when she groans in pain I pull away. I open my mouth to say something but instead I find myself crying. "Shhhh. Jake its ok" She whispers. I finally stop crying and calm myself down so we can talk. "Sarah... you were shot" I whisper sadly and her mouth falls open. "I-I I was?" She asks shocked. "Yea, you were and youve been in a coma for 4 months. Sarah its christmas eve." I tell her. "Whoa... are you sure? Wait its christmas eve? oh hawt damn....." I give her a minute to let it all sink in. "Oh and ive been attending school and ive made some friends with your friends, and me and Taylor are really good friends now too" I tell her with a smile. "Jake thats great im so proud of you" She tells me and returns the smile.

"What time is it?" She asks. I glance at my watch and its 5:12am and I left around 2... Wow ive been here for awhile. "Its 5:12am" I tell her casually. "Jake its 5am?! What? how did you get here or in here or why are you here?" I am flooded with a bunch of questions. "Um I couldnt sleep so I went for a bike ride to clear my head and I ended up here so I just walked in the front door and into your room to come visit you" I explain to her. (And yes I know in real that cant happen because the doors would be locked but lets just pretend) "Oh and do your parents know that your here?" She asks curiously.

Crap. "Uh noo...." I trail off. "Jake! You know you cant just leave like that its very dangerous!" She tells me sounding very ashamed in me. And the worse part is that shes right. "I know that was very wrong for me to do but I just couldnt sleep. All I could think about is a christmas miracle that you will wake up. So I came here and my miracle really did happen, you did wake up." I tell her and soon were both crying again. By the time we stop were both really tired. "Um you don't mind do you?" I ask her taking off my shoes. She shakes her head no and I climb into the bed next to her and wrap my arms around her waist and soon we both drift off.
