"You used to call me on my cellphone."

I didn't know hearing his voice late at night sound so calming. We stayed up till midnight talking nonsense, forgetting what time it was.

2016. 06. 25.

I'm writing this after I got out of the shower. It's been a while since I wrote something here. Tonight, I had kimchi fried rice, ramen, grilled steak, and sausages for dinner then had a cold shower. It's been a long day after all.

About our project in Music class, we're finally done with it. Time surely flies by so fast, it's almost July. We're almost half of the year 2016.

He and I have gotten a lot closer than we ever before. If he and I have gotten closer of course even I to Seungmin unnie, his older sister who is older than me by three years. His sister and I are friends now after visiting their house quite well but I look up to Seungmin unnie as my older sister rather than a friend.

Back then, we rarely talk because I used to always transfer seats with my other classmate and would only seat beside him during Mrs. Jung's class. But since he and I became partners I don't anymore. We have gotten a lot closer because I mean who wouldn't be close to your seatmate in class? and I have him as my partner, we always see each other. Should I say had because he isn't my seatmate and partner anymore because our project's done? Yesterday, our teacher rearranged our seats. I'm now sitting beside guess who? my best friend, Sanie.

Last night my phone turned black and started ringing. An incoming call from Seonghwa appeared on the screen. Pressing the green button accepting the call wondering why was he calling me. It was our first time talking to each other on the phone. We only communicated through texting before.

     "여보세요? (Yeoboseyo?)"

"여보세요? (Yeoboseyo?)" a voice I know well welcomed me.

"누구세요? (Nuguseyo?)" I replied wondering who I was talking to, to annoy him.

"오로라야? (Aurora-ya?)" a confused Seonghwa asked.

Smiling I told him he was not talking to Aurora, "오로라 아니 (Aurora aniyo), 전 유미예용 [I'm yumi]."

Catching up with what I was doing, he played along, " 오로라 아니라고 유미야? (Ah Aurora anirago, Yumi-ya?)"

Yumi is my Korean name and just like my second English name, Eve they mean the same thing which is evening.

"네 (Neh)," I said nodding even though he couldn't see me.

"Yeah right, 마치 내가 같은 사람과 이야기하지 않는 것처럼 [as if I am not talking to the same person]," I could tell he had a smirk plastered on his face through the end of the call. I rolled my eyes shaking my head at him.

Continuing to annoy him, I told him he dialed the wrong number and I should hang up now. "전화를 잘못 거셨어요. 지금 전화 끊어도 되나요? (Jeonhwareul jalmos geosyeosseoyo. Jigeum jeonhwa kkeunhsodo doenayo?)"

"안돼 (Andwae)," dragging the last letter whining for me not to do it.

"알겠어요 아저씨 (Algesseoyo ajussi)," I replied chuckling agreeing to what he said but still acting as if I was talking to a middle-aged man. It's fun making fun of him.
