Ch.30

(two months later)

(Y/N) POV

I dropped the box down onto Elijah's new bed. He was staying at Miami Linked now and everything was back to normal. He decided to take online classes with us because he said school would be hard without us.

I flopped onto his bed and looked at the ceiling fan go around and around.

"You good?" Elijah asked laughing.

"Yeah, just tired."

"You only carried one box." He laughed and laid down next to me. Ever since Elijah was cleared from the hospital, I felt like I needed to be with him all the time or I would lose him again. He didn't seem to mind much and we always ended up playing Fortnite anyway. One day the whole group had gone to the arcade while Anthony and I were working and I saw Elijah playing Pacman. I smiled and went back to cleaning the counters, but I was just glad that my best friend was back and happy.

But someone wasn't so happy about Elijah and I getting close again. Jake. Every time I tried to hang out with Elijah, it seems that he always had to be there and I didn't know why until I heard him talking to Sebastian about it. There was no need to get jealous when my only love was him, but when I looked Elijah and we laughed together, I loved him too. I believe I'm just glad that he's back and that I will always have love for him til the end of my life. But I love him as a brother, a best friend, as my Bubs.

"Still, the box was heavy." I laughed and then got up to go to Jake's room. I walked in and he was putting on his shoes.

"Where you going?" I asked and he looked up and smiled.

"You wanna go eat somewhere?"

I walked over to him and kissed him, "Yeah that'd be nice."

"Cool." He brushed back his hair and looked at me. His looks were always different now, not the same from before. He walked into the restroom and I followed him and leaned on the door frame.

"Hey babe?"

"Yeah whats up?" He asked.

"Why have you been acting weird?"

He stayed silent for a little bit and then looked back up at me, "I don't know."

"Really?"

"yeah."

I looked at him with a "I'm not stupid face" and he laughed and walked over to me. He hugged me close and then kissed my head, "Nothing's wrong, okay?"

"Mhmm sure."

"I'm being serious, I love you." He made me look up at him and I smiled and he pecked my lips quickly.

"I love you too." I hugged him close to me and then let him go finish getting ready, because all the boys in the house seem to need more time then me to get ready.

I left to go downstairs and saw Jackson going live on Instagram. We were blowing up on all platforms and now that Elijah was there fans were asking about him a lot. I got into the frame and then saw comments blowing up.

"Hey guys, how are all of you?" I said to the screen.

"We were just talking about how the fans want us to collaborate with other houses." Jackson said.

I sat next to him, "I mean yeah it would be cool, but I don't know. Maybe when it's time for Playlist." Comments came in saying they wanted to see us collab with Sway house or have a meet and greet somewhere.

"I think those are great ideas" Jackson said smiling at me.

I got up and went over to the kitchen when Elijah walked down the stairs, "Hey (Y/n), want to go watch a movie or something?"
