Ch.35

(1 week later)

We had officially moved into the new house, getting used to it was kind of hard, but we loved it here. The movers had come yesterday and dropped off everything that we had in the house in Florida. I was unpacking some of the boxes that had my clothes in it when Elijah came into our room, "So how's everything going?" He asked wrapping his arms around me. 

"Good, just tired."

"You're always tired." He said smiling at me. I continued to put away my things when he spoke up again, "So I was researching for skate shops around here for you and I found a couple you probably will like. Maybe we can check them out before the party."

"Aww" I hugged him close to me and held his face in my hands, "Thank you." I pecked his lips and then turned around, "Wait what party?"

"There's a party that we were all invited to at the Hype House, Sebastian wants us all to go."

"Oh okay." I turned around and saw him sitting on my bed smiling at me, "What?"

"Nothing. (Y/n)?" He back up and hugged me close to him.

"Yeah?"

"When are we going to tell people? You know, about us." I looked closely at his features and smiled back at him. 

"Whenever you want."

He smiled and pecked my lips, "Well I'll let you get ready." 

"Okay" He headed downstairs leaving me smiling about him and how he wanted to officially make us public.

It was already six pm an everyone was ready for the party except for Jake and Sebastian. I was sitting next to Elijah while we were watching some tv when Jake came downstairs first. 

"Hey, (y/n/n). Can you help me with my collar?" 

I got up from the couch and helped him with the collar of his shirt, I turned him around to look at him from the front to see if it was even when he smiled at me. I didn't know what to do but smile back. I went back to go sit on the couch and as soon as I sat down Elijah grabbed my hand and held onto it for the rest of the time we were waiting.

We had pulled up to the party and saw a bunch of people on the top of the roof. It was supposed to be three social media houses all together, but we hadn't met anyone else from the other houses, but Anthony made sure that we were comfortable since he already knew them.

The front door opened and we saw Thomas standing there with a huge grin on his face, "Welcome to the Hype House!" 

A girl stood behind him waving, "My name is Mia." 

We all said our hellos to everyone that was there at the party and meeting what felt like a million people was so tiring. We sat down on one of the couch and some guys from the Sway house came over to us and started to tell us about themselves and everyone else. Elijah was sitting next to me and Jake was on the other side of me just paying attention to what Bryce and Quinton were saying. I got up from the couch and walked over to the kitchen to get a water when a group of girls came up to me, "Hi, my name is Charli." She put her hand out for me to shake and I smiled and looked at the rest of the girls. 

"I'm Dixie. This is Addison and Avani." The other girl said pointing to the smiling girls beside her. Avani. Anthony's ex.

"We wanted to make you feel welcome in the party and we realized that you were the only girl in your house. Is that true?" Charli asked. 

"Yeah, we all met and became best friends, but the whole social media thing didn't even come up until later." 

They all shook their heads as they understood and I told them I was going to talk to them later. I walked back over to the guys and saw one girl sitting really close to Elijah. All the guys got up to go outside and I followed but so did the random girl. 

"Soo, I was thinking we should hang out more often." She held onto Elijah's arm but he pulled away fast. He shook his head no and then the guys started to talk about some random stuff when she put her hand on his leg. 

"Yo, can you take a hint?" Elijah said looking at the girl. 

Everyone that was outside heard them and you could see Elijah get embarrassed.

"what do you mean?" she asked trying to hold onto his arm again. 

"I have a girlfriend and she's right in front of your face, I don't want to be rude to you, but you won't stop." He walked over to me and pulled my arm so that I was now in front of her. 

She looked at me disgusted and then walked out of the house. 

"Elijah. You good?" Anthony asked. 

"Yeah, I'm fine." He pulled me close to him and kissed the top of my head, "Sorry."

"it's fine babe." I pecked his lips and then dragged him with me to go inside and meet some more people. 

At the end of the day I had met everyone and felt like a bunch people knew me even without knowing me in real life. The reality of our new lives was coming true, but I was loving it.

"Dude that was so fun, everyone loved us." Jackson said flopping onto the couch. It was true though, everyone we met was super nice to us and I made so many new friends that were girls, which was nice since I was now living in California with my best friends who are a bunch of guys. 

I went upstairs to Elijah an I's room and he followed behind me, "That was fun." I said laying down. 

"Yeah I guess so."

"What do you mean? It was so cool meeting all these different people." I checked my phone and saw a bunch of people from the party now following me and a dm from one of the guys at the party. 

"No, you're completely right. It's just I don't want to have to worry about other guys being after you. I mean that girl wouldn't stop and I-I just don't know how all this is gonna go." He sat down next to me and I got up and hugged him close. 

"Babe, stop worrying. You know that my feelings for you are so big and who cares about that other girl, she's not even part of any of the houses." I kissed his cheek and he smiled. "Everything is going so well, don't worry about it anymore."

He nodded his head and then went to take a shower. I opened my phone again and saw the dm from Jaden Hossler. 

"Hey Sway and Linked should collab in a vid, you guys should come over tmrw." 

It seemed fun and tonight I became close with the guys from Sway and Hype. So why not?

I texted him back that I would be a great idea and that I needed to talk to the rest of the guys. 

I changed into some comfortable clothes and decided to go back downstairs and watch some tv, but when I walked over to the living room the only one there was Jake. 

"Hey" he said smiling at me. 

"Hey." I flopped onto the sofa and watched what he was watching on the screen. 

We were watching for a couple of minutes when Jake spoke up, "So you and Elijah?" 

"Yeah."

"That's cool, I guess. I'm just glad someone's treating you right."

I didn't say anything to his response, but for the rest of that night I couldn't forget that sentence. I don't know why, but all I know is that he wasn't lying, Elijah is treating me right and I hadn't gotten that respect in a while.
