Pt.21

Sebastian and I were in my room while we watched "The perks of being a wallflower".

"Damn, he's a freshman pulling a senior?" Sebastian asked.

"Yea exactly." I looked over to him and laughed a little.

I was watching the movie when I felt Sebastian's hand on my thigh. I didn't say anything about it but then he got closer to me.

"Sebastian, you said you would wait. I'm not ready for a relationship right now."

He nodded his head and and then took his hand off, "I know, I know. Will you keep thinking about it though?"

I messed up his hair and smiled at him, "I am. Don't worry okay? Plus first I just want to know if we are going to survive this year."

"We will together, I promise." He held onto my hand and squeezed it.

"Sebastian, what'd your dad do to you?" I looked at him and as soon as I asked that question, he froze.

"A lot of things (y/n). But he's not here right now so it's chill." he was lying and I could tell.

"Sebastian. Stop lying."

"I'm not." He turned to look at me and I saw his eyes filled with tears that were about to rush out if I had said anything else. I got up and hugged him tight, "He started to cry more and I had his tears all over my t-shirt. "It's okay. I'll always be here, Elijah and Jackson too."

"I just need you." He squeezed my waist tighter and continued to cry.

"(y/n)" I turned around and saw Jake. I was in my usual spot at the library checking out the same mangas I check out everyday. "Can we talk?"

"What's up?" I asked.

"(Y/n) I miss us. I miss everything we had, I was drunk and I found out that Jaimie had slipped something  in my drink that night. I wasn't thinking straight. Please (y/n), you know that I love you with all my heart and I would never do it on purpose." He stared at me and i just stood there and laughed a little. "Why are you laughing?" Jake asked confused.

"Because what I just heard was straight up bullshit. You know you don't stay drunk forever." I moved closer to him and whispered in his ear, "If you really loved me, you wouldn't have gotten together with her after our break up in the first place." I stood back up right and moved back. "Try again when you decide not to lie to me." I went back to looking at the mangas when I noticed he was still there staring at me.

"C'mon (y/n). I love you."

I paused and closed the book, "I'm going to go." As I turned the corner and walked passed him, I saw the guys coming my way. "Hey guys." I anxiously dragged all of them with me to go sit at a table in the other side of the library.

"Woah what's up?" Elijah asked as he sat down.

"Jake was over there."

"Oh about that (y/n). We decided to give Jake another chance. I mean everyone deserves a second chance, so we thought you would be chill with it."

To be honest I was chill with it. I just didn't want him telling me that he loved me anymore, for some reason I hated it when it came out of his mouth. "Okay, thats chill and I totally understand. We all deserve a second chance, but he better not talk to me." I looked over at Sebastian and he smiled a little and then looked back Elijah.

"So meet up after school?" Jackson asked.

"Sorry I can't, I have to meet with someone today." The boys looked at me curiously and then went back to talking.

I haven't been feeling myself for the past days, so I just want to go hang out with someone who doesn't know a lot about me.

"That's so not fair, you cheated! You shouldn't be allowed to play Fortnite anymore." Troy pushed me a little and we were both laughing. He lost for the fifth time in playgrounds. "So why'd you want to hang today?"

"I just needed some time to have some fun without thinking about other things."

"Well I'm honored you chose me." He smiled at me and I smiled back. "Well I'll be here for you, always."

"Wow. Always?"

"Yea. Always."

We sat there playing for the next three hours when I decided I needed to head home. "Thanks for letting me come over."

"Yea no problem." I started to ride away on my skateboard when he ran and stopped me.
We both looked at each other confused and then all of a sudden we're were kissing.

I pulled away and nodded my head, looking like I was thinking a lot, "I'm sorry, I know you're not ready. I shouldn't have done that."

"Troy it's okay. I'm gonna go now." I was riding off when all of a sudden my heart started to beat really fast and I didn't know why. For sure I wasn't falling for Troy and but then as I look up at my front door I saw Sebastian waiting.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry. I should've given you a key." I took out my key and started to open the door.

"It's fine (y/n), so where were you?"

"Oh I was at Troy's house."

"Troy? As in senior Troy?"

"Yea what's up?"

"Look he can be a really great guy at times but one time he hooked up with a random girl in the bathroom during a football game." He acted like he was throwing up and I laughed.

"That is kinda nasty."

"I wouldn't be surprised if he's just trynna get in your pants."

I looked at him and smiled, "I could say the same thing about you."

"what do you mean?"

"Almost every time you came to my house, we end up kissing. You know I'm not lying."

"True true."

We got in and I laid down on the couch, "I'm so tired."

"Same." Sebastian flopped down on top of me and scooted himself on the sofa. He was now hugging from behind and I was laying there. "I like this."

"Cool."

"Cmon (y/n), just give me a chance."

"One day."

"We're gonna be 20 years old and you still won't give a chance. How long do I gotta wait?"

"Forever." I joked. He started to tickle me and I was laughing so much my stomach hurt.

"I'm such boyfriend material though."

"Just be patient Sebastian." He hugged me tighter and I smiled.

Did I really want Sebastian?

Or did I want to forget about Jake?
